    • @whysoclumzy03
      @whysoclumzy03 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll say that's mainly because WWE has become Sports Entertainment, AEW is Professional Wrestling.
      Now, WWE has aspects of wrestling, they have wrestlers, they have wrestling matches and put on wrestling shows but they focus more on the "Superstar" aspect rather than a "Professional Wrestler" aspect. They've been doing this since the beginning of time, Hulk Hogan was the most popular Superstar in wrestling in the 80s, he couldn't wrestle for the life of him but he was popular because he was the gimmick and he was a "Super Hero" to fans around the world. WWE is in an era now where they have great wrestlers like Ricochet, Cesaro (Had), Chad Gable, Mustafa Ali, etc. but they're not gonna draw because they're superior wrestlers, not sports entertainers. Roman Reigns has built up an insane amount of star power to the point where I can say in 5-7 years people are going to look back and say he was a draw, you also have to understand the aspect of TV Ratings, a large majority people have stopped watching cable TV, WWE isn't dead, It's not dying, WWE has 26.3 Million Followers on Instagram alone and that's a lot. They're socially relevant, something CM Punk in 2011 was trying to make them because they weren't. AEW Is a great product but as someone who has the mindset of Sports Entertainment over Professional Wrestling, I enjoy a Superstar over a Professional Wrestler. Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson are all amazing, top 10 in the world as far as wrestling goes but let's be real here, people fell in love with Stone Cold Steve Austin because he was an alcoholic who kicked Vince McMahon's ass, not because he was a great wrestler, people fell in love with The Rock because he was the greatest on the mic and could come back with insanely good insults in a seconds thought, he told a story in the ring, people fell in love with Cena more so after his prime in 2016 because he was shoved down the fans throats but he still put butts in seats and made them insane amounts of money, why stop that? I really can't say that I've ever seen WWE/WWF as Professional Wrestling ever, It's always been about the story and for people who say there aren't storylines now, I'd say the best correction of that statement is there's only very few, Roman vs Lesnar has really been the only Story Line I'm interested in, I'm interested in Edge vs Styles because of the Wrestling and the rest of the card are just fillers if I'm being real.

    • @whysoclumzy03
