This show never failed to move me to tears. I can’t say the same for the new one.

The first shooting star firework at 1:18 is absolutely breathtaking. Disney never disappoints.
I just cried. :') My fiance proposed to me during Illuminations about 2 months ago and it was the most magical moment ever.

EPCOT wont be the same without it. This fireworks show I'd always the one of the highlights of my trips to WDW. I dont know if I'll even like the next show after it because this one just holds such a special place in my heart.
I desperately hope that they get Civilization composer Christopher Tin to do the music for the incoming show. Any one of his prior works would already fit in perfectly as is. Check him out!

Dont mind me watching this and crying because I know after the summer of 2019 this will be replaced by a new show. The best firework show at Disney World(in my opinion, it has meaning to me ok) is going to be replaced. I'm so sad I cant even sum it up in words.
Fox Song omg... my family tradition is to go to Disney World every thanksgiving and I’ve been fascinated with this show ever since I was very young. It’s one of the clearest memories I have as a toddler. I guess I’m just going to have to really appreciate it this year. That’s so heartbreaking :,(

I finally brought my boyfriend to Epcot a few weeks ago and saw this from in Rose & Crown, and although the show isn't exactly the same alot of the core principles remained and it was breathtaking!

Great show with a phenomenal music score. I've always felt that it was at least five minutes too long in the middle, but I wouldn't miss it during a trip to EPCOT Center!

I'm so sad too they got rid of this show 😭 it's the first best fireworks I've ever seen and it was my first time going too who else wants them to bring back the old show
This place never gets boring they are always bringing something amazing to watch or ride on
This is the best spot to watch it from, my family and I always watch Illuminations from there, best seat in the house (unless you can get into the gondola area in Italy)
Best place in my experience is from in Rose and Crown (England). I eat dinner there and get the show with good seats

This show has meant so much to mean since I first saw in 2008, it’s been my favorite Disney show, I’m heartbroken that they’re closing it. But I believe that this has a happy ending since I will be going to Disney World in June to see this one final time
We Go On is such a powerful song. On the surface it’s a nice finale, but the lyrics discuss humanities perseverance through tough times and end the show on an uplifting and hopeful note. It truly is the best show as it’s one of the few things in the world that celebrates humanity as a whole rather than an individual group.
It’s so sad that it’s finally coming to an end this summer...it will be missed so much
I'm seeing this in a week and going into it knowing it's the last time I'll ever see it.
Why last time?
They're replacing it with another, hopefully similarly styled show. It's been running for 20 years and the floating globe has had some issues. Still, I'm literally in tears knowing ill only be able to see it once or twice more before its it's gone.
Same with me in February. I can’t help but think of how bad my sobbing will be 😂
And now it's done. Perfect show. Walt would be proud.

What Would Cruella De Vil Say?
I have only been to WDW two times. The first time we didn't see IllumiNations because everyone was too tired. We just got back from our second trip last week and I made it a point to see this show and it was amazing. I like this show more than the new Happily Ever After show.

Disney has entertainment on LOCK! its why I go every year to disney world and stay at wilderness lodge...expensive yes. But worth it.

FYI It has been confirmed by Disney that this Show will be ending at the end of the Year so if you wanna see this in person you have until January 2019 sometime to see this show a Final date has not been set yet..

When I was there a few years ago, after the show, they said the spiel and right when they said "Presented by Siemens" the entire side of the lagoon that I was on erupted into laughter. lol
Am I the only one who noticed the two missed firework cues (one at the very beginning with the fireworks from the water and at the end with the fireworks that should come out of the flame)
haha I noticed,. seen IllumiNations so many times that I noticed,. but it didnt matter really, cause the weather was so nice for a change,so the entire show looked magical.

my friends and i were eating dinner and even though i tried rushing them out the door we couldnt get a good view so im really frickin depressed i wont be able to see it completely before it leaves
