That was nice , I haven't been to Grandfather Mountain since I was about 10 and I'm 62 now , so we are going to go the next beautiful Saturday, thank you for the video and showing us the new things.God Bless
I see you enjoyed a nice day. I was there on September 27th 2022 and the wind was howling. Wanted to climb the rocks to lookout where bridge was but was too much to even stand. Enjoyed this video. Thanks for taking the walk up the rocks. Was wondering what I had missed.
Yeah, it was a welcomed relief from the heat. We were staying in Jonesborough (this was in late June early July) and it was HOT. The hike out past the bridge was beautiful and was very panoramic. I recalled seeing signs about high winds so you were wise to hold off going out at that time. Thanks for watching!
Yes. There is an entrance fee. At that time the tickets were 24.00 per person. With the recent inflation I'm not sure if the current costs. Thank you for watching.
That was a lot of people making sure dogs didn't go places. I do not know what was almost our national bird. That was super nice of her to watch the pups for y'all. Mother said your videos are like a box of chocolates, never know what your gonna get.
Yeah, we didn't know how dog friendly it was. The volunteers were great and felt bad that Mark didn't get to watch the pups. We spoke to him later and he was ok with it. I think they should (or maybe they did and we just didn't see it) advertise the "Volunteer dog watchers" a bit better. Other than that it was an amazing place!! Thanks for watching. Keep your eyes peeled for the "almost national bird"!
Well, I didn't know that. The person that asked was not an official, but just a passer by. But I just HAD to run that curve. One of my all time favorite movies!

You're very welcome. We had a good time there. So did the pups!
Thank you for watching and commenting. Let us know how your upcoming trip goes there!

Toni and I have been there a few times. It's such a beautiful view from up there.
It is! If the pups were not with us and Tina had the right shoes on. We might have hiked out a bit further. Maybe next time

That is correct!! Took me a moment to realize what you were responding to but then realized I asked a question! LOL. Thanks for watching!
Did you have to buy tickets to enter the park?

Walking on the road is not allowed due to the sharp curves and no shoulder. That’s likely why they asked if you’d lost your car.
Well, I didn't know that. The person that asked was not an official, but just a passer by.
But I just HAD to run that curve. One of my all time favorite movies!
Can i join you
