Maybe Aoshima or Pit Road can make a series of Navy Flight Deck Collection..... 1/700 is really a difficult scale to work with. At my age, i find Clip-On Loupes x 4 to be the most useful tool. Thanks for sharing.

The Japanese "SI" sounds like "SHI", so it is written in the Hepburn system, whereas in English it is written as "SHINANO". In Japanese cultural romaji(Roman alphabet), it is written "SINANO".
Also ich würde mich hüten mit einen Japanischen Muttersprachler über die richtig Betonung zu streiten 😅. Ich weiss nur eins, das Japanisch eine sehr Komplexe Sprache ist. Ich spreche zwar kein Japanisch aber ich höre gern den Sprachklang.

大鳳の飛行甲板はラテックスでは有りません。木甲板です。艤装に立ち会って居た私の父親が話してくれていました。
