  • ROBANCA TRAVELOGUES: th-cam.com/users/robanca... Picturesque Black Forest. A driving tour of the Black Forest in southern Germany, firstly staying at Titisee in the south, from where we visit Triberg and it's waterfalls, Waldkirch and the city of Freiburg. We then visit the nearby Lake Schluchsee, Altglashutten, Lenzkirch and Loffingen. Travelling north, we then pass through St Margen, St Peter and Haslach, before reaching our second base in the north of the Forest at Durbach. From here we visit the towns of Offenburg, Hausach, and Villingen, and the lovely villages of Gengenbach and Schiltach.

Germany is not a expensive holiday destination if you avoid the school holidays were also the German families holiday. In 2020 they are late and start at July, so the whole June is eg low season. Rental cars are also affordable and with a trick you get one 1-2 calsses up for the same price. You can order at SIXT a car in a special colour (black) and if this car is at that certain station not available, they give you as compensation a car 1-2 classes above your reservation for the same price. Than you have a new Mercedes C/E-Class for the price of a VW Golf- works in 75%.

Why? In Germany things don't change so quickly as at other places. Especially in the rual areas.
The population is decreasing and it is not allowed to demolish old houses, even when you are the owner...
The rual areas did not change too much in the last few centuries why should they do in the future? ...
