I have several 990v6s: Grey Day, Grey and Kith x MSG x Knicks. I am considering a 1906, but I really like the comfort and fit of the 990v6.

I’ve been wearing NB for over 20 years , and the 990v6 is the most comfortable ever .

I have both 990v6 and the 1906r(same pair as you). 990v6 is way more comfortable but my feet get hotter faster in these shoes and I have 3 different pairs. Tried very thin socks but same story. 1906 is my favorite Gym Shoe

I have most of the made in USA 990 line for some reason I always go back to my 990v6’s 😅

tried all 3 on in store. Only shoe that gave me a "Wow" factor was the 1906R and it was right after I took of the 990v6. I feel the 990v6 was heavier and less breathable. Tighter on the forefoot as well. I went to the NB outlet and tried the 990v6 then since I wasn't impressed I went to the NB store downtown and tried on these. 1906R won in comfort, weight, breathability, and styling. 990v6 just looks like grandpa shoes unless its the Action Bronson pair. Hope this helps someone!
