I was wondering how this worked. Ive only split two cards, angela and dino cuz I use those a lot. I just upgrade whatever card I can to progress the collection. So I havent really been upgrading the same character.
I'm curious if you know how you managed to get the effectless gold Spider-Man you have shown on stream, because if doesn't seem to fit into any of the tables, and I haven't seen any other gold or inks with no effect, but it looks amazing.

Has anyone completed a card yet? What happens if you try to split again and you already unlocked every combination? or is that totally unrealistic because theres so many combinations?
Before I had wife and kids I might have had the time and money. But then I probably never would have unlocked the full house "effect", and that has a lot of sparkle!
Just want to clarify something: You mention that the card effects don't carry over through variants so you can roll the same combos that you have on the original card. However can you only get one of each combination on the variants too?
Oh, man... I don't think I'm ever gonna upgrade my Carnage as it's looking its best in just the vanilla and Legendary rarity - all red lava! Not only this, but most cards lose its appeal when you have a rainbow in the background :(
Gez, they really dont make this system clear at all. And they also went balls deep with the rainbow effects. Which I could do without. I will probably just make an attempt to get the cards i like in inked or gold. Then never upgrade them past legendary. They really should have made some more effects other than rainbow. Every single effect destroys the artwork background of the cards. Just overall...not very well done. I like collecting cards for the artwork, and the background is actually a part of that artwork. Smh.

Chance to get any split is 100%, you just need to split 25 times

I remember pulling a Split Yondu out of an Agent 13, it was very weird experience
The card you get from Agent 13 will have the same effects as your Agent 13 I believe

The rare backgroud/sparkle unlocks are per card/variant yes? Meaning I have to split each and every card for the rare ones to appear?

After split #18 you get solo effect/background splits

you can get effects from the first splits as well

Yes correct, each variant (art work) can only have each combination of effects once.

After 6 months of watching this vid, I finally got 8 ink ones for my galactus deck, ultimate goal is all deck with kirby + ink
well you have to remake the video now as you now have a chance of 8 different color options for EVERY particle effect xD

It's not about spending money, it about grinding you can't pay to unlock them faster
U can do it f2p u just need to play a lot to get enough boosters
