I do custom Wonder Woman dolls and I since I love really full hair, I get extra hair added to some of them or in some cases, they get full re-roots. The thing I was wondering is: Is there really any such thing as a doll's hair being cut perfectly even? It seems like all the hair is never "completely" even when I cut it, but then I started to notice that even dolls right from the manufacturer don't generally have even hair. Some strands of hair are usually longer than others. When the hair is curled, you can't tell and it looks fine. However, if the hair is left strait it is more noticeable and the "choppy" look you referred to is what I don't like. Even if the hair is left strait, it looks much better when the ends are smooth - the choppy look is NOT cute.
