Donny sings it better and Stevie is a beast! For me Donny is one of the best singers to come out of Black America.
Here Stevie was 66, while Donny was around 27 years old when he recorded this song… I wish Stevie had covered it back in the ‘70s! Things would’ve been slightly different. But yes, Donny was unbelievably good.
Let Stevie sing Stevie and Donny sing Donny. They're both great and amazing singers gifted from God. Stop comparing and let them be who they are. RIP Mr. Hathaway.

Stevie is one of my favoruites artists behind Donny and I have to say this wasnt one of his better performances, sometimes Stevie overcooks some of the notes which is something Donny never did, this is a beautiful song which doesnt need unnecessary riffs
