How to Make Cardamom Tea

a simple one ingredient cardamom tea recipe. Cardamom has a fresh taste and is often a component of chai in India
Instructions for 2 cups of Cardamom Tea:
Water: 2 Cups
Cardamom: 4 Pods (crushed)
Temperature: Low Simmer 85°C / 185°F
Steeping Time: 5 Minutes

I hope these videos leave you inspired, but also a bit more peaceful. That's why these videos often have instrumental music in the background but you can still hear the act of brewing tea.
Tea is the second most drank beverage (right behind just plain water) but often coffee gets the bigger attention while tea is also very diverse in taste. I hope this channel does justice to it's diversity of taste.

We Indians add cardamom, black pepper, ginger, cloves, cinnamon to usual tea and milk
But we do mix match those ingredients in just plain hot water and boil it . Then bring down the temperature to warm, as honey and drink it .

I went to an Etheopian restaurant and they made this Tea and the flavor was in the water used with a regular Tea Bag. I've been trying to replicate at home...let's see how it comes out. Cardimum is a very strong herb... 4 seeds seems right... Will see if I need to add some more. 😊
