All American Family owned Diner... with obviously outstanding food... with handed down recipes... super long term employees (people only stay if the business is run right and the boss is good to them...) - congrats to Moody's Diner, all the way from Louisville, Kentucky.

My grandfather would go there in the 30s when the only why to get there was old RT 1 that was still dirt ! It took him 12 hour to get to Waldoboro from stoneham Mass . He would pick up eggs someplace in waldoboro with his tractor trailer . He bought a camp on Damariscotta lake in 1946 and are whole family moved up here yup gotta love Moody’s Dinner ! 😜

We were in Maine last month on vacation. We stayed right around the corner from Red's Eats and ate at Moody's twice...both times we HAD to get the chocolate cream puff and blueberry pie.
