    "You can do your own thing and I'll love and appreciate you still". That might be my favorite Sarah Cray line of all time!

    I love this nature picture. You have got to be one of the sweetest people doing art. You encourage from a distance because clearly you don’t know people. But I feel like part of the family and I’m so grateful I found Let’s Make Art!🌸💕🌸💕🌸💕

    But seriously, who could thumbs down a Sarah Cray tutorial? Anyhoo! I love the dancing during dry time and I think the musical selection was spot on!

    I love that let's make art does not cut out anything from their videos. This really help me learn techniques. The picture looks hard to do but when you're the one teaching it, everything always turn out...right and perfect. Thank you for being a good teacher😚

    I was always intimidated by watercolor . Your tutorials are so helpful, informative for beginners. The subscription boxes along with these tutorials are genius. Thank you for providing this creative outlet and at a reasonable price. My favorite days are Tuesday’s and every day you do videos on creating projects that are also not in the box. That helps to improve my skill and i just enjoy being able to create beautiful projects.

      I have to ask, how would you go about painting a montezuma cypress tree. I want to paint one of those.

    Loved how you did this. it's one in my kit.. I guess I better get to painting.. Also the trick to taping down the watercolor paper is to keep it taped down till it's dry. It will then dry flat. If you remove the tape while its wet it will buckle.

    These days when I am unsure of how to get the watercolor effect I’m looking for I think “which LMA tutorial did Sarah use to teach us about that?” I can’t thank you both enough! and Sarah, check out the song Havana. It’s a great dance tune.

    Hi from Northern California! Thanks so much for all you do. I'm not the creative one in the family (I'm the accountant, lol.) And yet, I've been able to follow your tutorials and make some pretty decent stuff, but most of all I'm having fun (and staying off facebook!) (If you come visit your in-laws, I'll get a group together for a paint-n-sip!!!)

    I just recently subscribed and ordered the fox kit. This morning, as I started watching your video, you mentioned your in-laws that live in Placerville, Calif. I was raised in Placerville and lived there for 68 years before moving to Idaho. Wow.

    What fun! Can’t wait to try this - Thank You!! Want a quilting tip for checking your work from afar? Pick up a door eye piece (the ones that let you see who is knocking at your door) at the hardware store and look at your painting thru that - Presto! A view from afar! Now...where are my paints.......🙂

    I'm kind of in need of this answer.... do you think pine trees have leaves? I thought they were needles. Nice fun time with this. Thank you very much

    • @maraclaypool1739
      @maraclaypool1739 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Coniferous trees (pine, fir, spruce, etc.) absolutely have needles, but these needles are actually the leaves!

  • @sistahsunshine
    @sistahsunshine 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a couple comments on this...
    1- I feel like Sarah needs a introductory class in trees. DECIDUOUS. loses leaves, fruit and flowers. CONIFEROUS. has pine needles.
    2- DANCE MOVES.

      Thank you, and the grassy knoll remark was offensive. Thank you for your apology for that unnecessary remark too. My teenage daughter watches these with me.
