      Happy that you found it useful Angel, as you have a TON of plants that could benefit for fruit production. The button didn't work so great as I had to click it 3 times, lol 😂

    Excellent information, Krista. Thank you for all the effort you put into this video. We also used hügelkultur to build our 24" high raised beds. When we emptied one after 3 years, the logs were mostly gone and the roots were right down there!

      Thanks so much Sandra. I hope someone can apply to their situation and turn their crop around 🥰 So good to know that you're hugelkultur build worked. Those logs or chunks of wood do soften and act like a sponge for sure.

      Hi and thanks for stopping by 🙂 I used to live in Brookings for a short time back in the 90's. I applied the yeast here to all my tomato and peppers (sweet and hot) on Sunday and saw flower and fruit by Tuesday. I hope to get a video showing the results today.

    Thanks for Subscribing , I came over to check your channel and this was a great first find, I'm relatively new at gardening and always looking for tips LOL. Even though I've had a TH-cam channel for a while and I have a couple of older videos I never really started posting regularly until about a year ago it's a great past time and an excuse to get out in the woods or outdoors and to be honest sometimes a push to get out doors.
    I really like your gardening tips today will definitely be trying some of these and passing on some to my daughter, I'm off now to try and find some berries LOL, I hope you have an awesome week.

    Great video Krista. I definitely will make some of this if I think I have enough plants to use it on. By the way today I saw my first tiny bell pepper. I have had flowers but not seen any peppers. I also saw some little tomatoes. Finally! Thanks for all the info. 💖

    Home made whey from rotting milk, its what sinks to the bottom is what you want to use on mildew there go that from a Canadian guy . pure protein is what i am assuming yeast is, i know back in time a lot of pure protein was used but that and lead to over feeding, nitrogen is mostly what it has so its good for growth no flowering or fruiting plants or pre flower BUT you added the banana and eggs shells so there's your other nutrients to make its a complete plant fertilizer all you need really to get by. Ash is great too I use Gaia green it has added stuff to it that are real good nutes, Awesome video. Im in california its been SUPER HOT so i covered everything garden, its thriving but not with out shade, and its to dry for mildew here but we have grasshoppers LOL another things is pollination. i have been hand pollinating just shaking the plants with flowers and things started fruiting FAST i got 3 cucumbers in 5 days that weren't even there I got another watermelon to start when i had only 1 that took 4 days after i hand pollinated some flowers I had a fruit so dont always count on flying insects

    • @AlmostaGreenAcre-zs5eu
      @AlmostaGreenAcre-zs5eu  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks so much 🙂For sure there are other nutrients that can be added to make a complete fertilizer. Glad you enjoyed the video. I can just imagine how hot it would get there. I follow some gardeners from AZ, NM, and CA and shade cloth is essential I would say for a successful harvest. That is a great tip to not count on flying insects to pollinate and for you what a fast turn around for fruit, wow. Take care and I love hearing all your ideas ❤
