Wormholes fascinates me for this unknown duality they have: should they actually exist, they could be a useful way for us humans to actually travel into deeper space, but they could also be something even more dangerous than a black hole...
I assume since the closer we are to the event horizon, time will move faster from our perspective. If we are 'able to look backward' and still 'able to see' stars behind us, we will watch all stars as if they are moving in accelerated fast-forward state. We can see stars dies and new stars are born within seconds. This fast forward view will keep speeding up until almost reach unlimited speed as we pass through the event horizon.
▼Wormhole▼ is a hypothetical structure which connects disparate points in spacetime. It may be visualized as a tunnel with two ends at separate points in spacetime (i.e., different locations, different points in time, or both). Wormholes are based on a special solution of the Einstein field equations. Specifically, they are a transcendental bijection of the spacetime continuum, an asymptotic projection of the Calabi-Yau manifold manifesting itself in anti-de Sitter space. Source: Wikipedia
So ... do we ever make it home??? Do we have our special suit to help us survive till something rescues us??? After so much, I don't want it to end trapped somewhere in space LOL
I think that nothing Will happen, beacuse The "tube" might be The Space and Time you are crossing trought The Wormhole, but It's justo a random theory.
My theory: The Edge of a wormhole is a portal to a: Black hole, white hole or another universe. Touching it would send you into the fourth dimension going across universes, your 3D brain cannot comprehend it, The edges are like teleportation, a point in space which uses 4D space to go beyond the limits of forward, backward, up, down, left or right and send you to another universe.
I imagine it's theoretically possible to find a wormhole that leads to the very instant the Big Bang happened, meaning it would look completely white from the other side due to the sheer intense heat. The opposite is true, a wormhole that looks like it leads to complete darkness, which is the total heat death of the universe. If we progress enough as a species to create a reliable and safe way of generating our own wormholes, we would be able to conquer distance as we could just go from one distant part of the galaxy to another, or even other galaxies entirely within the blink of an eye, and potentially even travel back in time!
I think this is probably one of the most terrifying visual interpretations of a wormhole that I've ever seen. The subtlety is disturbing, like you just accidentally go into one if you're in a position that you can't see the distortion or something.
Wormhole is more theoractivities that lead another space time if you were at age of 20 while you enter the wormhole your age is around 30 to 40 if you are in the wormhole if you go back your age will be more different from the earth...
If you could see the other side of a wormhole from our side, could that imply black holes lead to an area outside of space and time? Or perhaps it's a glimpse of the dead universe far beyond several trillions of years from now, when the black hole finally dies.
Black holes are something that has always terrified me. Perhaps it's because my brain just cannot understand it, or it's just the idea of being consumed by something and not knowing what is on the other side...
Did someone else felt.... Weird by the part where you come out of the hole? Like... The way space comes back into place, it made me feel like something pulled it back into place, like something alive and sentient pulled it back in it's place....
It would take unspeakable amounts of energy to not only keep a wormhole open, but also ensure it's stability. As things stand... if any Wormhole were ever to be proven to exist, then it would undoubtedly be suicidal to enter one.
Awesome. Fascinating and terrifying. Great video. Do wormholes theoretically move/travel too? Would also be interesting to see if signals could travel through them.
Here's me hoping that for April Fool it'll be a homage to the Red Dwarf scene about white holes, where we float in space asking the same questions over and over and never actually go anywhere 😄
These things are still theoretical but does make me wonder what event would need to happen to even “spawn” one of these? Looks like it would take a large amount of energy bending space like this. If they’re theoretically possible perhaps they’re not a naturally occurring thing and require artificial creation?
Well... the big bang happened, right? And that's, to put it scientifically, _weird as fuck._ So clearly there is plenty we don't know about what enables, permits or prevents various events from happening.
It's not creating/opening a wormhole that would be the truly difficult part... that would be keeping it open and stable for any and all traversal through.
It's pretty cool. I've been through one before, it was amazing. I've been stuck here for sometime now, and not sure if I'll ever find another one to travel through, but maybe someday.
I guess I have a few questions about wormholes after watching this video. If anyone could answer that would be great, I'll check back in a few hours. 1. Do Wormholes have a "pull" factor? Like with Black Holes and how they are constantly pulling objects towards them. Would you be pulled in or just have to actively drive towards it by yourself? 2. Would Wormholes produce an insane amount of radiation? I know space itself already has insane amounts of radiation but I guess I'm curious if a human could even pass through a wormhole without dying from radiation. 3. At 3:27 there appears to be a distant black line along the center part of the screen, could you theoretically fly towards that and enter it? What would happen if you do? Thanks!
