Wowww u're really amazing can you make a video about "th" vanishing? Please we need it! Greetings from cali Colombia 🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴 your TH-cam channel is gold
Dear Hi, Kindly make the video on a short story, like any moral. Please start to 🔰 biggner level only ten line for linking and connected speeches. Like cows , pens , 🏡🏠 houses. I hope you are considering my opinion for all the students. Thanks ❤️
Thank you so much!! I have already suscribed to your channel. I have a question about vowel to vowel linking when a diphthong is followed by a vowel for example: in the sentence "slay is bad" do we have to pronounnce it like sleɪ y ɪs bad or sle y ɪs bad?. And in the sentence "i am good" do we have to pronounce it like aɪ y am good or a y am good ? Do we have to eliminate the ɪ in those diphthongs? As native spanish speaker that is difficult to me
Hi Adonis - Thanks for your comment and question! Here are a couple of resources that might help: I've published a video about vowel to vowel linking (which you can view here: th-cam.com/video/24V_OX_EccA/w-d-xo.html), and I've also given a lesson on vowel to vowel linking in my weekly English group class called Julie's Conversation Club (you can learn more about Julie's Conversation Club here: courses.sandiegovoiceandaccent.com/courses/julies-conversation-club). It would be great if you could join the Conversation Club and attend one of the live meetings - I could listen to your speech and give you feedback about how you sound! I hope to see you there :)
Thanks for your question! This is a challenging phrase to link together. It's a little difficult for me to explain the linking in a comment. If you come to my next live English class at Julie's Conversation Club (courses.sandiegovoiceandaccent.com/courses/julies-conversation-club) I'd be happy to help you there!
Hi! Thanks for this question :) The answer is a little too complicated to explain in a written comment. It would be best if you joined my next live class at Julie's Conversation Club (courses.sandiegovoiceandaccent.com/courses/julies-conversation-club). I could answer your question in detail during the class! I hope to see you there :)
Teach how to link difficult consonant clusters as in "It has lost its charm". ST > TS > CH. Not easy to link them together.
Hi ijansk - Thanks for your suggestion! I'll add this to my video "to do" list, but I hope in the meantime, my current linking videos will help you :)

Hi Ramzy - Thanks! I did my best with the narrow transcription - sometimes it's difficult to use the symbols accurately :)
