YES! Agree with you 100 percent-- I booked a "suite" here in June for HHN. The shuttle buses are quite good here as well, never had to wait more than 5- 10 mins for one (that was during March). I'm curious to see what the schedule will be like during HHN. Also, I bring a sound machine with me to block out hallway chaos,, It is for sure a great deal with all of the price hikes going on. Cabana Bay will be one to try next year for sure. Thanks for all the info you give us, Chris!
😮 never would have thought of the sound machine, good tip! No doubt I'm glad for people to save money anyway they can and still have a great Universal trip. You're welcome 😊
We're staying at Dockside this weekend for the first time. We stayed at Volcano Bay in the family suites. Hated it!! Our air conditioner broke in our room and we had ants in the kitchen. Horrible Experience! Hoping this stay is better.
My husband and I have not stayed at dockside or Surfside, but we have stayed at Cabana Bay and Aventura. As a mature couple without children, we personally preferred the Aventura hotel because it was more quiet, less themed and we could walk across to Sapphire Falls and use the water taxi. Cabana Bay, while very fun, was a bit too loud and too spread out for our particular taste. With the Aventura, we like that it was contained within one building. The parking lot was in the building and we could take all of our luggage to our room without getting rained on. It was a good experience. Both are good for different reasons for us. We just personally preferred the more quiet more modern Aventura.❤🥰
Yes, that’s exactly how I think of Aventura. It’s a quick in and out hotel. Especially if you don’t plan to be at the hotel that much. I enjoy that aspect of it.
Hey! I read that Surfside gates close at 7pm, do you know if that's true? I'm hoping to stay there for HHN this year as well but as it will run late, worried I won't be able to get back into the hotel.. 😅
😂 just what happening to me this very time. I tried to go early in the day. So I could avoid this very issue but I ran into friends at the park and ended up staying.
Utilize the online early check in to the far right by luggage. Room might not be ready but you get to avoid the longer line and go enjoy the parks till they text you
It is a great place to stay. For me It's the quickest resort (as in check in, get to room, Head to universal) If I'm staying a quick day or 2. It's for sure my go to.
So I went to Halloween horror nights last year and I feel like we didn’t get all of the time spent well bc we were walking all over the park, do you have any tips that would help me not do that this year?
There's no way around it for the most part. HHN is around the entire park. The only thing I can say is go in a certain order. So you don't have to backtrack to see things you missed on the other side of the park. RIP Tour will cut the walking down BIG TIME. Because you are not waiting in lines and taking the long walking routes. You take shortcuts and go straight to the house.
Hey, if you have your hotel booked, that's half the battle. I always book my hotel for HHN first because it's going to go up in price the later the year drags on.

Dockside is my family’s favorite… cabaña bay is a summer hotel but my personal favorite for HHN
Agreed, something magical about Cabana Bay and HHN season.
Were staying at the portifino bay this year!
🙌 That's a dream stay of mine. Enjoy every second!

Sorry to hear that. Definitely hoping your stay is far far better this time.

ayeeeee i’m staying at surfside again for hhn this year 😁😁😁

I love me a breakfast pizza
What's not to love right? It's BREAKFAST on a PIZZA! ok I'm on hungry right now.
Dockside and Surfisde are ok, but I’d much rather spend a little more money and stay at Cabana Bay. The amenities there are so much nicer.
I agree, love me some Cabana Bay.
I don't know what that guy was talking about, Cabana Bay was perfect when I went to Universal studios with my family
lol, everyone has different wants and needs in a hotel resort and the rooms. I've always enjoyed Cabana Bay overall.
@ZombieChris I love the vibe the 50/60s Aesthetic
Biggest knock on Endless Summer is that if you try to check in at bad time...youll be waiting for 30 minutes
😂 just what happening to me this very time. I tried to go early in the day. So I could avoid this very issue but I ran into friends at the park and ended up staying.

I like monumental movie hotel on i drive across from the park most of the time me and my wife 60 70 ish
This hotel is a great budget choice, but ive had nothing but terrible experiences here. Lol would not recommend
You're speaking to the choir on that one. That's why I gave a sit down real talk moment about Dockside.
@@ZombieChrislol i started commenting before you go there in the vid, but i saw lol
The frozen margs are the best at Endless Summer and they are cheaper
Especially in this Florida heat. Sounds so good!
I booked cabana bay both of my hhn trips
🙌 Me as well. It's my HHN Home.
Just my opinion, but Aventura is the place to stay!

Nope, no king beds
Is this sponsored lol, who wants to stay in a room with 6 people that far away?
People that travel in a group of 6 and no it’s not sponsored. I wish it was. It’s not super far away. With the bus it’s about 4-6 mins.
I got my Dockside Suite Booked for 20 days just sadly they need to put the HHN passes up so I can stop worrying.

👍 For having the room booked! We are in July, should be sometime soon.....🤞
@@ZombieChris Hopefully they didn't get rid of them this year or changed things.
