- I'm STILL on the hunt for a good directional sound 7.1 surround sound gaming headset that can replace my HyperX Cloud II headset I've been using over the years. I found a bunch and i'm going to be doing detailed unboxing and reviews of all of them.

great video, so there's no surround sound on console? No directional hearing in-game? Is it possible if you connect the USB sound card to the back of the xbox?

Hi. I love your video but a have a few questions. Im gonna use it to stream. I have a ps5 and I would like to know that if its possible to connect to the elgato game capture, ps5 and obs? . Im confused because I connect my headset throw elgato chat link cable to the controller. You showed in your video that You connect the headset to the ps5 directly, so I dont know If I could use it to stream with a ps5 and obs. Thanks!
I’m on Xbox and when I use this I use the built in mic the one in the wire and not the other one how can I fix?

@@alikhan19x hey, do you have an update for me? My headset has 2 microphones apparently(the plug in microphone and it has a microphone on where the mute button is) but for me the plug in microphone doesnt work. Im also on ps4

The headset mic sounds great out of the box. I like the really like the control you have with the audio on this headset, compressor/limiter and de-esser, expander/gate- plus a 3-band EQ. If i get these, i wont have to use Nahimic anymore for signal processing!

I bought them and it’s ok but I hope cloud alpha is not better because that was my second choice and I read that alpha has better sound on many reviews your opinion??? I also hear music not only for gaming

do you know if its good on ps4? If i adjust the setting will it carry onto my ps4? is there echo on it when talking with others? I bought a g635 and it's good but it seems the mic is very sensitive and my friends always say i have echo..this is on ps4 btw
@@HEROiiNBABYY I just got it for my PS4 and I have to say I’m highly disappointed after being so excited to get this. Came from PS4 gold edition headset which was 10000% better than this. Very sad

@@HEROiiNBABYY I can confirm since using the audio card on a pc instead of a Mac all the available equaliser settings and profiles are available, the audio profiles I installed also work perfect on my PS5 not sure about PS4 I’d imagine they’d be the same. The headphones differences is day and night since doing this and has completely flipped my opinion back to what I expected originally. Incredible headset and compatible with console but don’t bother if you don’t have a pc to load the audio settings

@Oliver WIGGINS I managed to fix my mic and it works now still not real sure how I fixed it but I was just fiddling with it and i muted and unmuted the mic a few times and suddenly it worked so maybe try that if not just try unplugging and plugging back in and other things

If your listening on your PC, listen to Spotify on PS4. You will be able to talk in game, adjust music sound and everything

Yup
Hmm well this is an issue where there's no DAC to relay 5.1/7.1 channel data. If you bought a bluetooth 5.0 transceiver that has an aptX connection and HD codec support with an AUX (3.5mm) port, you could then connect it to your PS4 via bluetooth with an Avantree Leaf USB adapter. At least you'd be getting digital audio instead of just analog. Saving for an Astro A50 would probably be more worthwile, all said and done.

Astro A50's work amazing on ps4 and is the app for fixing your presets etc is so easy to work defo save the £300 for them :)

That is because ps4 audio is capped at like 50% if you go to spotify and turn it all the way up you will get a more accurate representation of the audio. I always have felt like all headsets have been pretty low on ps4

@@meicervantes1345 Is the mic not upgraded even a bit without blue voice on the Pro X? Anyway if not, isn't the build quality better and not as bulky? If so I'd say it's worth it to get the Pro X. You can also use Dolby Atmos on Xbox too which helps I believe.
@@JesseDumontt I think the only difference is that it comes with blue voice so if you’re using a console it’s better to get pro instead of x and sage extra few bucks. I’ve had the x for a bit and I like it but it squeezes your head a lot more compared to hyper x cloud so I can’t wear my glasses w it. Either way I still like it tho

Hx Alpha X since I am a bass junkie. I like hearing the deep sounds of explosions, rumbling, or anything than can be attributed to a low sound in games. Especially with structural sounds like Alien Isolation, SOMA, Dead Space, etc. and most importantly having the ability to control the bass without having to resort back to windows. That sure was a selling point to me.
The Alphas are really nice and as a bass head it's really good! I don't like the leather pads so i stuck with the fabric. Sure bass leak but still really good!
Reload Wonder they’ll last me forever since I only use it when I cannot make noise or coop with friends. Other than that I still enjoy and prefer my 7.1 Atmos setup. 😉

U have to configure it right. It doesnt come out of the box ready for what u want tbh. U also should use cloth muffs. Leather muffs make it sound bad.
