you didn't show Mill Avenue in Tempe or the Entertainment District in Scottsdale. oh well thanks for showing Phoenix I love that city. Hope you guys enjoyed it ☀️🌵❤🔥😊
Yo great video! I visited in March 2021, visited Papago Park, Tempe butte (A mountain), and one of those high mountain peaks in Phoenix (I don't recall the name), also went on an epic Jeep tour through the Sonoran. I also would recommend just visiting the many malls/strip malls there. Can't wait to go back to Phoenix again, your video does a great job explaining a lot of the good stuff there.
Another place I'd recommend going if visiting here is the Desert Botanical Garden. It's wonderful and you won't find anyplace like it anywhere except this area. The Boyce-Thompson Arboretum is also great, but really there's nothing anywhere like the DBG. It's also right by the Papago Park. As far as this list goes everything here is pretty much good (although I'd pass on the Salt River Tubing), but one place stands out: the Musical Instrument Museum. The MIM is awesome! Another place I'd add is the Heard Museum. If you're here and miss that, you missed something special.
Chuck Box is the best burger place in all of Arizona! Little Ms Barbecue is the best barbecue place in all of Arizona! Whenever I have friends in family in town, I always recommend those places to them!
Great video! Although American cities East of the Mississippi River have very different histories than Phoenix and other Sunbelt cities who became populated mostly after WW2 and air conditioning. Eastern American cities had large populations well before WW2 and very different histories.
@@xScooterAZx Yes, but the Eastern cities were more densely populated long before the Western cities in general. Phoenix was populated but still a very small population compared to the Eastern US until air-conditioning became common and after WW2. This is when Phoenix' population grew to be comparable to the Eastern US cities.
an other worldy source draws me to this place in phoenix arizona. it is mysterious and other worldy. Australia has been my colonisation site straight from ship contact across the Australian desert we come here to phoenix in united states.

Great video. Just spent a weekend there earlier in the month. It really is beautiful but I don’t think I could live there- feels like a giant suburb. Wish it wasn’t so developed.I love the downtowns around the metro that offer cool food and entertainment. Would love to see a New Orleans or Cincinnati vid in the future
PHX native here: there's really not much to do here, unless you're into nature and things like that. other then that the club life is sad and watered down.. for whatever reason clubs still play edm in 2022 and are just overly packed on top of the hot ass heat. The one high I'll say is I never had better Mexican food, I'm literally convinced Phoenix has the best Mexican food not Scottsdale... Phoenix!! And if you want it even more authentic west Phoenix to be precise! But we know the east valley folks are going to just shit on the west valley hence the east valley looks like a wonderland compared to the actual Phoenix, tells you the kind of person that's from Scottsdale to west phx
Seems like hiking is big here. The video is great but the city seems boring comparing to other videos. Ive been there couple of years ago and I had a hard time to find opened restaurant past 10pm downtown. I've heard a lot of people are moving there so hopefully it will get a better vibe in a few decades.
Seeing this restaurant tour at the last third of your video makes me wish just one thing: Please can someone invent the Quantum-Slipstream-TV-Computer-Screen-to-Reality-Transformator so that I can grab all the delicious burgers, cocktails, and other dishes right out of my notebook display?
Abandoned that area? That recounting makes colonization sound... neat. WHO SAID THAT? What constitutes an "abandonment"? There are many unoccupied lands in the U.S. right now which seems abandoned to me....
Currently live in the suburbs of Philly and hate the weather. I think Phoenix is beautiful and wanna move there after college. Dream school was ASU but it was too expensive
Forgot to add about 300 years of history. The first Europeans to arrive to Arizona was around 1528, they were the initial builders of the cities, who gave the names to most locations in Arizona known today. Including the name Arizona. But it's not surprising, I was educated in Arizona and they never taught us this history. 😅 I only learned it after reading history books published outside the state.
I'm pissed at some people in Scottsdale Arizona that lied about me not being a registered nurse a group of teenagers that lived there that all knew and were friends with aome senator family.
So y’all want me to believe that Native Peoples lived there from 450 AD to 1450 AD and mysterious vanished because of floods AND droughts starting in the 1300’s? Ok, yea.
Hi I have a sociopath following me around on social media saying that they are me I'm sorry for any inconvenience however if you have any information I would appreciate you thank you

almost everything you said in the intro is not real accurate: (1) No matter what, you can't really fry an egg on the sidewalk or bake cookies in your car (but it is hot in the summer, i get it), (2) I have grass in my backyard, as do many of my neighbors, (3) I have never seen a 50' cactus, ever. 20', sure, but that is about it, (4) we have probably the least amount of plants and wildlife that try to kill you compared to other places. Why did you select the MIM? It is relatively new and interesting, but I wouldn't travel to Phoenix FOR it... What is the "arizona Boardwalk" that you say is famous"? Never heard of it. The butterfly museum is part of an acquiarium complex and it isn't even the best butterfly exhibit in Phoenix. Desert Botanical Gardens and Butterfly Wonderland is better. As far as the restaurants and other places, some are good but others are just places you went and I have never even heard of... If you are traveling here, the places you should see are all of the hiking and trails everywhere, golf, the greenbelt, but I would recommend going in Scottsdale rather than starting from Tempe, tubing in the summer, and definately can attest to Little Miss BBQ. Other than that, day/weekend trips to Sedona, Flagstaff, Jerome, Bisbee, Payson and other trail/hike/lake fun.
