    Nice video explaining the strategy. It is a good way of getting some big hits if the dice go your way just a little. The regression is key if you can get the hits. You had quite a lot of rolls and with only one hit you were only down approximately $50 bucks. I like it!

    Just a thought............the best strategy is one that only lasts a max of 4 rolls........a long run only happens once an hour. Getting to there takes a large bankroll. Those 7s kill everyone that has a lot of pressed money on the table. Find a strategy that lasts 4 rolls and you will leave a winner more often than not.

    Waaay too sketchy for getting out of the roll quickly! I’d try this if I was a good bit ahead in my rack, but to start I’d risk a bit more initially maybe. I have had really good results with $12/ea on the 6&8. Drop $10 and go to $24/ea. another hit you take $30 for $2 and regress back to $12/ea. from there I go crazy sister pressing until it gets built back up to $110 inside and then regress to either $22 or $44 inside and then take no prisoners!! I’ve only been buying in for $100 lately and it’s been really enjoyable and stress free. Not winning as much as I was on a $300-$500 buy-in but most importantly I’m losing less!! Keep up what you’re doing! We love the diversity in strategies!

    I don't like that you had two pretty good rolls to start and only hit once. I prefer those strategies where you get your original bet off the table quick. That said, it is a fun structured system with a good upside. If I was at a $1 or $2 machine i would enjoy trying it.

    This is why i ALWAYS prefer a strategy where you collect FIRST, THEN press and do that EVERY time because when that seven comes out, at LEAST it will give you MORE chances to accomplish what you're doing because those small amounts you win all ADD UP to give you those extra chances!

      To skip 1 roll of exposure, just start it at $140 inside -- $40 / $30 / $30 / $40
      Then on every number it's PRESS, then COLLECT and regress ... rinse and repeat.
      It's more exposure, clearly, but every 2 rolls you're in the washing machine.
      $1500 required to play it that way, and you're going to need to outpace the 7 by 3:1 to stay alive, 4:1 to make money. You've got an 18:6 odds advantage on each roll (75% probability) to get it done but its asking a lot.
      Every loss costs you $140, every 3 wins nets you $100 or $200 (call it $150 average). So you'll tread water unless you're actually seeing your numbers come at the expected probability while you happen to be there.

    So get this... I played this Friday evening at Harrah's in Cherokee on the electronic craps table. I started with $160 into the machine figuring it would give me close to 3 shots at this strategy, particularly if I got a few good hits.
    I DIDN'T notice (much too my what embarrassment now) that the shooter was on roll 31 (or was it 41, now I am not sure) !!
    So after about the third roll, I realized what his streak was and I freaked out in my head for just a moment thinking that I should pull everything down and wait for the next shooter because surely this shooter was going to hit a seven any moment. I pause a moment and realized that I was perfectly fine with gambling the 160 and I would still get a couple more shots so why not jump on the train. I went ahead and followed this strategy to a T, with just a minor misstep once or twice.
    He seven'ed out on roll number 78 and I printed a winning ticket of $1,143!!!!
    I checked in with my wife over on a blackjack table and got a high five, then wandered for a bit losing $40 on a bubbles craps machine that didn't seem to be working right. In my mind I kept going back to the concept that any strategy will work in craps as long as the rolls are long.
    I came into the casino with $300 originally and with $160 tucked into my ticket, $40 gone, and a $20 bill broken for tips, so I was left with $80. I headed over to the craps tables and there were only $15 and $25 tables. I watched the action on both tables for a little bit while I turned over in my head how to use the $80 at one of these tables.
    Deciding that I was well ahead at this point I stepped up to the $25 table (that had a really good vibe) after the shooter changed and placed one unit on the 6, 7, and 8 and with a couple of quick hits shifted in to this strategy full tilt. I got some good hits and was able to get going on this strategy on the quarter table. Two shooters later I colored up with $868 in chips.
    My wife was up a couple hundred dollars so we cashed out and headed on our way.
    So this is quite clearly worked with two or three long rolls. Shorter rolls would be riskier, depending on what the shooter hits, but it was fun.

      Show your work, please. Taking just the 5 as an example, you're a 3:2 underdog, which yields you a 40% win probability against the 7 one time. Not great by any means ... but how do you get from that to .27%? What are your calculations that show this number and the double tap being only a 2% chance to hit?

    • @dr.macgmail2287
      @dr.macgmail2287 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are not just rolling against the 7. There are 36 possible combinations of the dice. For example, there are possible 5 combinations for the 6. You have a 14% chance of rolling a 6 against all combinations. To hit the 6 one time is a 14% chance. To hit the six 2 times before the 7 is a 1.9% chance (0.14x0.14). To hit the six 3 times before a 7 is a 0.27% chance. You may get lucky occasionally but the odds are greatly against you.

    • @ProCraps
      @ProCraps 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dr.macgmail2287 your math is incorrect.
      .14 * .14 is the probability of rolling two sixes back to back on subsequent rolls. And my multiplying again by .14 to get to below 1% is the probability of 3x back to back.
      Your actual probability of a 6 beating a 7 is 45% - that’s 5 wins out of 11 combinations. Anything not a 6 or a 7 is inconsequential, so they don’t factor in unless you are hopping.
      And once a 6 has shown, the probability of another one remains at 45%. That never changes
      You only multiply to get to that lower number if you are calculating the probability of both events happening before you start. After you have an outcome the only calculation that matters is what can happen next.
      Did a video on this math last week actually and am addressing it (lightly) this morning as well.
      LMK if that made sense. Tough to get it right on a phone!

  • @tbone2859

    This may be a different system you covered already, but what about picking an inside number to press up quickly to a black chip. Tried this on my table. Hit the nine for $21 and put that on the six to get it to $30 with $3 getting racked. Hit the nine again and put that on the six to get the six to $54 with the $3 coming back out of my rack. I then hit the six for $63. That got the six to $102 with $15 going back in the rack. Then hit the six again for $119 with the regression then back to $12. It took fewer rolls to get that first regression. Thanks for the content. Share your videos with friends to try and get them to understand the game so I don’t always have to be the dealer lol. . Of course if you pso early, you lose a lot more. I guess it just comes down to personal preferance on risk vs reward.

    Strategies of this sort are curios only. Oh sure, there can be an intoxicating thrill to such demanding “hands on” tactics-in commandeering your dealer so that he’s got your bets jumping like frogs on a trampoline.
    Still, there is a kind of hubris to this. As though by dint of sheer busywork you might forestall the killer Seven, as it keeps to its fated steamroll pace.
    But you’re no longer playing to win, you’re playing not to lose.
    If you had any confidence in your strategy you wouldn’t fixate on retrieving your “Foundation,” or be obsessing on each next hit.
    So it’s just as well that you’ve effectively removed yourself, by these methods, from ever bringing home the more substantial, potentially life changing wins.

      @@brizzlex1919 More’s the pity. Casino bank craps has not become the enduring mainstay that it is through fun and gains, but by rich lore. Conveyed as much by word-of-mouth as written accounts, down through the decades.

    Pressing depends upon hitting the same number multiple times in order to win anything. If your bankroll allows, start with the highest bet you are trying to get to and regress. 7 is coming. Also, play the dark side. After you hit a few times with higher bets, get out and funnel to big red.

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Starting higher requires more upfront risk. Playing darkside is great idea funneling money to big red, unless the 7 stays away for a big and numbers keep rolling. Whichever way you play is a gamble, you never know how the dice would roll, otherwise this game would be easy to win at.

      @@ColorUp Speaking of hop bets... I was finally able to hit a casino after not having been in one for a very long time. I was excited to finally get to play again, as well as to be able to put a strategy that I have been creating to a real test. First, I have to say that I've never cared about or paid attention to hop bets before, but I have heard people yell them out as bets, especially at tables that don't even have them included on their layout. However, in creating my strat over the last few months, it does involve hop bets.
      So I finally get to the table and I start talking with one of the dealers as I was waiting for the point to reset, and It's a good thing I was able to speak with the dealer before buying in, because that's when I found out that the casino I was in doesn't do hop bets.
      I thought hop bets were a regular/standard bet at any table, sort of in the same vein as all the prop bets, but I guess not. So here's my question:
      Are hop bets not standard bets that are available at every casino and on every table? Are they really just a prop/bonus bet and just like some places have the fire bet or ATS, etc, can some casinos choose not to allow hop bets?

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Casinos can choose to run game any way they like I guess. Most casinos will accept prop bets whether printed on layout or not. Obviously not all though as you found one that doesn’t

      I like to have enough money to last 10 shooters. This strat takes $54 per shooter and sometimes more for the power press. So yeah $540-$600. but you can bring less or more, that’s just what I’m comfortable playing a strategy with. 10x the strategy bet amount.
