If it released as we’re expecting it it’s a solid 7 if it’s bad it will be really bad for everyone cause they had a full 4 years outside of Covid and a hyped framework so I don’t think they would be able to comeback if it ends up bad

This is how I went from awful to pretty decent in early cods. Did a lot of kill cam watching and theater mode of people that smoked me. It’s sad that there’s no incentive to get better at the game anymore because you’re just punished by the matchmaking algorithm

Another thing about theatre mode it actually helped with catching cheaters as well cause you can go back and spectate from that players point of view now you may not see the red boxes that way but you can tell and that will definitely help and you can submit that footage to them as well

The main thing I want back is really good high end score streaks like bo3 raps, bo2 swarm, or something along those lines, in my opinion that was one of the things that held back mw3 because aside from that the general gameplay in mw3 was really good
Even as someone who the matchmaking is made for, it's still one of the main reasons I quit CoD. It seems like I do pretty well for 2-3 matches, and then the s/p/eo bmm is like "oh shit he's doing too good" and then I get dumpstered for 1-3 or sometimes 3-4 matches. And I've found I'm still in the top 1 or 2 of the team and the rest of the lobby looks like one of your (marksmans) lobbies about 2/3's of the time in the carnage report until it eases up again (and then it feels like I'm being handed the win). The other third-half of the time my score is that of one of your randoms
How is this bad? It’s literally bumping you up into better lobbies, the longer you do it the better you get. Would you rather get 💩 on every single match by 1 or 2 sweats? If so play XD

K/D isn’t the entire factor for matchmaking. If I look on leaderboards it says I am in the 3rd percentile of all players in search. My search K/D is a 1.75, spm is 111, and I deal with the same matchmaking issues as you do, not as bad, but I still find it incredibly hard to win with off meta guns. All I see is MCW, Rival 9, etc. etc. Even if you have a high k/d, if your score per minute is bad bc of constantly camping, your ranking will remain low. The entire system is flawed for anyone who wants to be decent at the game. I currently have 15 days total played on MW3, and I really hope things change with skill based in BO6.
Not sure if you read your comments nick, but from what i see and what ik from experience, people are just fed up with cod. They get us by feeling obligated to play since we spent our hard earned money on a $70 game. In return we get a bad launch, buggy gameplay for a month or two, connectivity errors, no audio queues, unbalanced weapons and perks. The trust for a lot of us is broken, and its a shame. Youre right on one thing, there isnt another game like it. Im hoping for the longevity of games like xdefiant or even the finals. We need real change, not empty promises and broken systems. Maybe if the devs were more transparent the community would trust them more. Maybe if they delivered on their promises we wouldnt feel apathetic on the new cod. And it not only hurts the culture of cod, but also the ones that stream it. The content creators like yourself. I enjoy watching you, but I have so much animosity towards the devs and publishers that it just doesnt matter. I am simply apathetic when it comes to cod. Like “oh another year another cod.” Maybe we as a player base jaded? Maybe we are sick of a yearly cod release. But the numbers will never say that, the devs would never address it. I used to be 2.3 kd I just can't be bothered to try to sweat for a 1%. Marksman being a 8.7~ kd I couldn't keep up with the matchmaking. That's when I had less time. Really sucks.
It’s built to make the average player feel just inclined enough to play till the next kill which is guaranteed with fast ttk and aim assist. Where an average player could play sweats get shit on but farm kills off the sweats teammates, now it’s just a playground where everyone’s equal and you never kill more than you die. Fun right?
there's more sweats than casuals. People who take it seriously are sweats not casuals. I say this as a sweat myself. People who care about stats are sweats, the vast majority of players are sweats, that's why SBMM doesn't work. The casual playerbase is LONG LONG GONE. It's been 15 years of CoD supremacy, everyone knows how these games work and the internet is full of BEST SETUP, Movement Guides, etc,etc. Everyone becomes a sweat hence why SBMM doesn't help anyone. My gripe with SBMM/EOMM is the midmatch rigging not the lobby making. Having my connection suddenly be laggy or make shots not register because i started doing better than what my stats are currently showing is what pisses me off, if i made a good play and i earned that kill then i should get that kill instead of dropping hitmarkers and get 2 shotted by people who didn't even notice me. I understand i'll mostly play against sweats since that's the actual playerbase and i'm a sweat myself as i have atleast a minimal of care for my stats but rigging me mid match just because i'm on a roll is dumb. The only reason that happens is because they want to keep the Ultra Sweats, no life ttv'ers and tubers on check, hence why they've began cheating so much more.
I mainly worried about dolphin diving becoming the “meta” for most fights, because you can ads and shoot while diving. If that becomes the new dropshotting then I can’t see myself playing the game at all.
I averaged 2.5kd during MW2 and it was so bad that after season 1 I dropped the game, I work a full time job and do a bunch of errands when I’m home, so when I have free time to play I don’t want to have to sweat my ass off to have to do well, I just want to sit back and enjoy playing casually, not have to sit forward all the time. That’s why I’ve been playing XDefiant lately, it’s fun to go 40-10 and not try hard like as if it were a pro tournament with slide cancels and jump shots around corners
I played mw3 for the first 3 months, quit, and I’ve been playing for the past couple weeks. But, I’m playing through my pc SPEAKERS and playing by myself, and playing respawn modes. Trying to get back to when I fell in love with cod.
Brother I can say as someone with a0.90 k/d the matchmaking isn’t anything I can complain about and thankfully it does allow me to use unique builds. Love the vids and seeing you shit on people
If BO6 doesn't have a Dolly Cam in theater mode, they fumbled. Dolly Cam benefits content creators and montage makers like myself SO much, as it saves a ton of time and allows for more flexibility. The fact that Cold War's theater didn't have this worries me.
Omni movement has me really excited ngl. I loved the 3D movement cods, especially BO3 in the sense that the game was consistently fast paced while feeling smooth. These new cods have fast paced bursts of movement tech that breaks animations and cameras angles, but looks really awkward and is really annoying to track. Things that are hard to tracks and take skill are good, but things that cause weird animation glitches that are damn near impossible to consistently track are a very bad thing for the game.
Marksman one thing you should probably add about your comment on the KD needed for sbmm/eomm (or just a video on it) is how it effects the people on the boundary of higher skill and lower skill. When i use to play, i would grind every gun. The bad ones, through bad days, a lot of the times on bad maps, to grind the camos. So my KD was around 1.4. This was while playing in suboptimal conditions, if i were to tryhard with the meta guns all the time then i could get an average of high 1s or even 2 kd consistently through about 3 or 4 games straight where i was. It is no fun to be on the border and having to sweat after some good games, but never be put down far enough to get enjoyable games where i can make a lot of progress.
Reasons why this will be my favorite cod since bo3: 1. Round based zombies 2. Set crews in zombies 3. Theater mode 4. Classic prestige system 5. New movement system 6. Treyarch campaigns don’t miss without Jason blundell 7. 4 years of development time. Treyarch is coming to save the day once again from stupid sledgehammer and infinity ward.

Theatre mode could bring back clips for cod. I love hitting cross maps I hate not being able to see them after that’s what made me start back in Blops 1.
I mean, I have a 2.3 KD and have not really had problems with SBMM, but I do play with a party of all good players as well, so that may be why, honestly.
theater mode is probably single-handedly the reason black ops 6 will be the best-growing cod. it was one of the reasons og TH-camrs like the Vanos crew made videos featuring black ops 2. its literally free advertising allowing creators to be creative.
The one thing ive been waiting for is a game to come out with ranked on day one insead of after everyone loses interest. Then it just feels like its held back as a way to pull people back. What shooters come out with no ranked for months these days.
At this point, all maps from all games should be in rotation for all modes then remove the bad maps that don’t do well for SnD. Or have Even bomb placements which have change locations every 2-3 rounds

But I will say, the controller feel in CodM is very lacking, you HAVE to play on PC if you want the game to feel better.. I have to disagree with the "matchmaking bubble”. (5:25) K/D doesn't really mean much for the average player. If your K/D is above 3, you're probably in the top 0.01%. My K/D is 1.3 in S&D, and most of my friends who I either destroy or get destroyed by in 1v1s have the same K/D as me. Why is that? Because if I get a 3-4 K/D in one game, the next game is against pros or campers. I don't mind playing against better people if it's by luck, not because the game wants to make me suffer and then gives me a few easy games to make me "feel happy." I've been playing COD since 2009 (MW2 OG), and I hate how I get hyped every year thinking the game will be "better" this time, but the matchmaking just ruins it

I honestly just wish all people would wake up the fact that if they just said “No” for a year. No playing. No turning on the electronics. No buying. No selling. I used to have a 2.8 KD, with the new cods it went to 1.75, now is all the way down to 1.25 and is brutal so I stopped playing months ago... The matchmaking is killing the game period.
The gameplay can be a 10/10 and i don't fucking care. 1. SBMM/EOMM needs to go 2. Shadow Bans need to go 3. Anti Cheat needs to improve If none of these are changed or fixed then there are plenty of other games i would rather hand my money to then the greedy Activisions and their love for money and stupid microtransaction sheep SIMP's
Great take on SBMM, I always thought the CoD community greatly over estimated its reach, and I feel like Xdefiant really humbled a lot of people who felt like SBMM was keeping them down. irrespective of that however, it still needs to go.
Idea: the biggest problem with that comment “if its received well, we will do it” have a mechanic where you hit touchpad and pause and it will pull up an all encompassing selection of displayed items, music, settings, etc. since it can be activated always u can jump on a map or go to whatever ur problem is, and post it to an in-game forum. If multiple people gripe about the same stuff then instead of generating a new ticket in the forum causing clutter, it will convert to a like and the user’s comment about functionality. Seems easy enough.
Forgot to mention the biggest problem- being that with so many voices even the people with attentive ears dont know where to look for information much less a dev that cant afford to. Organizing the logistics of feedback gets rid of the bs “we didnt know” card. This isnt an idea to make the community better, its an idea to hold devs responsible and actually have to address things that are most prominent.
I understand that the 0.7-1.3 KD range is designed for SBMM but I am usually a 3.00KD on any other CoD and using off meta guns makes me stuck at a 1.4. I grew to just not care about my KD cause skill based just wants everyone to have a 1.0KD
what really needs to be done is removing the shadowban loops some people are going through. I paid 70€ for MWIII and got two BPs only for me to be shadowbanned one week and then getting shadowbanned again after 2 rounds. Even now I barely managed to get in 13 days of being able to play the game as I wanted until I got shadowbanned again on Monday. It's genuinely crazy that people get prevented from playing even though their system should know we are legit (I understand the need for systems like this but at least prevent people from getting shadowban after shadowban when it's obvious people just report because they're salty/bad) especially when this actively prevents people from completing events and effectively losing money you spent because you lose a lot of time to do the BP, at the very least give me compensation or something. this is a much bigger issue than even SBMM which I don't even think is a problem for me personally since I mainly play 10v10 and 12v12 where SBMM isn't as harsh with some exceptions so not being able to play at all is much worse
As a previous Top 250 war zone player and someone who had played cod since the release of black ops 1 it honestly hurts the way the game is now. I quit and started playing Fortnite of all games and I am actually enjoying in I’ve been in Unreal top 2,000 these past two seasons after putting thousands of hours into cod since black ops 1 I have officially lost interest in the game and I will only be playing black ops 6 if they step up and because it will be on game pass
I am a COD zombie fan. I really enjoy the Zombies all the way from W@W all the way up to BO4 where the Dark Either timeline “began”. I’m Cold War, it took way too long for more maps to be released and zoms got stale. I’m hoping they bring back some Zom maps from BO2 back (die rise or transit for example) plus I’d like to see keeping the leveling of weapons separate for Zoms and Multiplayer. As we saw in Cold War MW 2(?) It was faster to level up weapons in Zombies than it was in multiplayer. Otherwise from what I saw in the trailers, I think the game looks great so far. And I hope they don’t let me down this time as they did in MW19. I didn’t even bother buying MW2/3 at all because cod wasn’t fun for me anymore and DMZ looked boring.
I think one of the biggest issues with Call of Duty today is the SBMM and EOMM. I am a player who plays two nights a week on my days off. I am by no means as good at the game as I used to be however, I somehow currently have a 1.55 KD in mw3. I still get matched up against a partial(3/4) or full party of sweats. I’ll check their profile and the majority are Crimson and iridescent on ranked. I don’t understand how they want players to keep coming back when in the limited time they have to play if in a similar position as mine this is all they play against.
I am excited for Black ops six for not only the multiplayer, but also the zombies, but I am tempering my expectations this time around. The bright side when it comes to Treyarch games if you do get tired of all the sweats you can just hop into zombies for a bit. Did this quite a bit on Cold War ngl
The main problem is the hidden sbmm in ranked I’m crim but didn’t play on my main account for two seasons it was at plat I hop on it and am going against other deranked grind and iri even seen a couple top 250 skins and it takes forever to queue into a match because it’s trying to find people matching my skill level in the lower divisions if you sign up for ranked you signed up for ranked I don’t want my ping affected to save noobs for ranked play
Sbmm only benefits a smaller than 6% players, since the last mw and this one I've only experienced 1 random who didnt hate a game they were in, always seeing people im my team leave even when winning cause no one is having fun
I was always a 1.8-2.5 kd kind of dude. I used to only buy them for zombies. The best Kd ive had was 3.3 which was in Advanced Warfare. It was completely different and I was there for it. Stopped playing until Mw2019, Mw2 2022, Mw3 2023. My kd was 2.2-2.7. I actually enjoyed them. MW 2019 was definitely my favorite new game. But until I get a good definitive zombies trailer, probably wont make a decision.
Regarding your point around the 5:00 mark with SBMM, do you believe people in that range could be outliers? I'm personally a 1.3 K/D player who mains Respawn but thats after Camo Grinding, getting calling cards, and intentionally using classes so bad I have everyone in my lobby wondering what the hell I'm doing, yet it feels like every lobby is full of Obsidian MCWs with META Ranked attachments. Playing with other players with better K/Ds than mine, it even feels significantly easier on myself, not just because someone else is on my team able to pull weight, but the enemies just seem worse.
I do have 1.3 kd but still put me in a sweaty lobbies with crimsons and diamonds player using all meta weapons. While me just using a rpg and rgl and none meta weapons. It’s boring to use the same gun all the time. I rather just to have fun and play hard 😂😂.

the difference between current dead silence and old dead silence, is that old dead silence didnt eliminate sound, it was just quiet. thats how it was supposed to be, thats how everyone loved it. awareness in the past as well didnt make it to where you could hear only footsteps, it was everything, your speakers would get hit with an extra 20 decibels just from having the perk, so footsteps were out of the question.
I don’t believe em when they say that about Theater Mode. Especially when the other devs have come out and said otherwise. I just believe Treyarch knows people want it, but the other 2 devs don’t want to incorporate it.

Why not just have an option to turn off sbmm? Then it's off by default but you can opt in or out. Just have notification if the player is losing a lot to opt to play people at their level or play with mix level players. Options are good.
The end result wont change for anybody. Anybody who is naturally under a 1kd will keep it on bc they rather have people on their level than 2kd sweats. And those over 1kd who disable sbmm would not see any players weakee than them

for someone who only plays snd you cant knock on lower kd players who play everything. playing snd is levels easier to keep ur kd high if ur an above average player. this sbmm system just wants to keep you at a 1kd.

KD isn't really a tell all factor about someone's skill level, I have a 1.25 after doing various random shit but my solo lobbies are all crimson/iri kids using their ranked skins with obsidian mcw's and renetti's. Run into a decent amount of cheaters too in snd so the hidden mmr is wildly different then someone's KD
I actually do feel the match making it was last fun around B03 for me then it got heavier as i got better with a 1.4 in B03 and now a 2.7 in MW3 it feels extremely difficult to go off meta in a all lvl 850 lobby against mcws and rival 9s

The main thing I want back is really good high end score streaks like bo3 raps, bo2 swarm, or something along those lines, in my opinion that was one of the things that held back mw3 because aside from that the general gameplay in mw3 was really good

I get drone swarms in MW3 every day i play the game
Even as someone who the matchmaking is made for, it's still one of the main reasons I quit CoD. It seems like I do pretty well for 2-3 matches, and then the s/p/eo bmm is like "oh shit he's doing too good" and then I get dumpstered for 1-3 or sometimes 3-4 matches.
And I've found I'm still in the top 1 or 2 of the team and the rest of the lobby looks like one of your (marksmans) lobbies about 2/3's of the time in the carnage report until it eases up again (and then it feels like I'm being handed the win). The other third-half of the time my score is that of one of your randoms

K/D isn’t the entire factor for matchmaking. If I look on leaderboards it says I am in the 3rd percentile of all players in search. My search K/D is a 1.75, spm is 111, and I deal with the same matchmaking issues as you do, not as bad, but I still find it incredibly hard to win with off meta guns. All I see is MCW, Rival 9, etc. etc. Even if you have a high k/d, if your score per minute is bad bc of constantly camping, your ranking will remain low. The entire system is flawed for anyone who wants to be decent at the game. I currently have 15 days total played on MW3, and I really hope things change with skill based in BO6.
Not sure if you read your comments nick, but from what i see and what ik from experience, people are just fed up with cod. They get us by feeling obligated to play since we spent our hard earned money on a $70 game. In return we get a bad launch, buggy gameplay for a month or two, connectivity errors, no audio queues, unbalanced weapons and perks. The trust for a lot of us is broken, and its a shame. Youre right on one thing, there isnt another game like it. Im hoping for the longevity of games like xdefiant or even the finals. We need real change, not empty promises and broken systems. Maybe if the devs were more transparent the community would trust them more. Maybe if they delivered on their promises we wouldnt feel apathetic on the new cod. And it not only hurts the culture of cod, but also the ones that stream it. The content creators like yourself. I enjoy watching you, but I have so much animosity towards the devs and publishers that it just doesnt matter. I am simply apathetic when it comes to cod. Like “oh another year another cod.” Maybe we as a player base jaded? Maybe we are sick of a yearly cod release. But the numbers will never say that, the devs would never address it. I used to be 2.3 kd I just can't be bothered to try to sweat for a 1%. Marksman being a 8.7~ kd I couldn't keep up with the matchmaking. That's when I had less time. Really sucks.

It’s built to make the average player feel just inclined enough to play till the next kill which is guaranteed with fast ttk and aim assist. Where an average player could play sweats get shit on but farm kills off the sweats teammates, now it’s just a playground where everyone’s equal and you never kill more than you die. Fun right?

there's more sweats than casuals. People who take it seriously are sweats not casuals. I say this as a sweat myself. People who care about stats are sweats, the vast majority of players are sweats, that's why SBMM doesn't work. The casual playerbase is LONG LONG GONE. It's been 15 years of CoD supremacy, everyone knows how these games work and the internet is full of BEST SETUP, Movement Guides, etc,etc. Everyone becomes a sweat hence why SBMM doesn't help anyone.
My gripe with SBMM/EOMM is the midmatch rigging not the lobby making. Having my connection suddenly be laggy or make shots not register because i started doing better than what my stats are currently showing is what pisses me off, if i made a good play and i earned that kill then i should get that kill instead of dropping hitmarkers and get 2 shotted by people who didn't even notice me. I understand i'll mostly play against sweats since that's the actual playerbase and i'm a sweat myself as i have atleast a minimal of care for my stats but rigging me mid match just because i'm on a roll is dumb.
The only reason that happens is because they want to keep the Ultra Sweats, no life ttv'ers and tubers on check, hence why they've began cheating so much more.
I mainly worried about dolphin diving becoming the “meta” for most fights, because you can ads and shoot while diving. If that becomes the new dropshotting then I can’t see myself playing the game at all.

I averaged 2.5kd during MW2 and it was so bad that after season 1 I dropped the game, I work a full time job and do a bunch of errands when I’m home, so when I have free time to play I don’t want to have to sweat my ass off to have to do well, I just want to sit back and enjoy playing casually, not have to sit forward all the time. That’s why I’ve been playing XDefiant lately, it’s fun to go 40-10 and not try hard like as if it were a pro tournament with slide cancels and jump shots around corners
So basically you don’t want to play people your skill level you just want to wipe lobbies. Play private match against bots you can clean house
I played mw3 for the first 3 months, quit, and I’ve been playing for the past couple weeks. But, I’m playing through my pc SPEAKERS and playing by myself, and playing respawn modes. Trying to get back to when I fell in love with cod.
Brother I can say as someone with a0.90 k/d the matchmaking isn’t anything I can complain about and thankfully it does allow me to use unique builds. Love the vids and seeing you shit on people
If BO6 doesn't have a Dolly Cam in theater mode, they fumbled. Dolly Cam benefits content creators and montage makers like myself SO much, as it saves a ton of time and allows for more flexibility. The fact that Cold War's theater didn't have this worries me.
Omni movement has me really excited ngl. I loved the 3D movement cods, especially BO3 in the sense that the game was consistently fast paced while feeling smooth. These new cods have fast paced bursts of movement tech that breaks animations and cameras angles, but looks really awkward and is really annoying to track. Things that are hard to tracks and take skill are good, but things that cause weird animation glitches that are damn near impossible to consistently track are a very bad thing for the game.
Marksman one thing you should probably add about your comment on the KD needed for sbmm/eomm (or just a video on it) is how it effects the people on the boundary of higher skill and lower skill.
When i use to play, i would grind every gun. The bad ones, through bad days, a lot of the times on bad maps, to grind the camos. So my KD was around 1.4. This was while playing in suboptimal conditions, if i were to tryhard with the meta guns all the time then i could get an average of high 1s or even 2 kd consistently through about 3 or 4 games straight where i was.
It is no fun to be on the border and having to sweat after some good games, but never be put down far enough to get enjoyable games where i can make a lot of progress.

4.1KD. SBMM is brutal in regular playlists, every person is iri, crim or diamond. I’ve found the seasonal moshpit playlist to have way less SBMM.
I mean, I have a 2.3 KD and have not really had problems with SBMM, but I do play with a party of all good players as well, so that may be why, honestly.
theater mode is probably single-handedly the reason black ops 6 will be the best-growing cod. it was one of the reasons og TH-camrs like the Vanos crew made videos featuring black ops 2. its literally free advertising allowing creators to be creative.

The one thing ive been waiting for is a game to come out with ranked on day one insead of after everyone loses interest. Then it just feels like its held back as a way to pull people back. What shooters come out with no ranked for months these days.

I haven't played a Mainline Cod game since MW2019 and switched to CodM full time. Haven't regretted my decision since. But I will say, the controller feel in CodM is very lacking, you HAVE to play on PC if you want the game to feel better..
The only time I play CodM with a controller is when I'm not home and have my Odin 2 with me

K/D doesn't really mean much for the average player. If your K/D is above 3, you're probably in the top 0.01%. My K/D is 1.3 in S&D, and most of my friends who I either destroy or get destroyed by in 1v1s have the same K/D as me. Why is that? Because if I get a 3-4 K/D in one game, the next game is against pros or campers. I don't mind playing against better people if it's by luck, not because the game wants to make me suffer and then gives me a few easy games to make me "feel happy." I've been playing COD since 2009 (MW2 OG), and I hate how I get hyped every year thinking the game will be "better" this time, but the matchmaking just ruins it

I used to have a 2.8 KD, with the new cods it went to 1.75, now is all the way down to 1.25 and is brutal so I stopped playing months ago... The matchmaking is killing the game period.

Great take on SBMM, I always thought the CoD community greatly over estimated its reach, and I feel like Xdefiant really humbled a lot of people who felt like SBMM was keeping them down. irrespective of that however, it still needs to go.

Idea: the biggest problem with that comment “if its received well, we will do it” have a mechanic where you hit touchpad and pause and it will pull up an all encompassing selection of displayed items, music, settings, etc. since it can be activated always u can jump on a map or go to whatever ur problem is, and post it to an in-game forum. If multiple people gripe about the same stuff then instead of generating a new ticket in the forum causing clutter, it will convert to a like and the user’s comment about functionality.
Seems easy enough.
Forgot to mention the biggest problem- being that with so many voices even the people with attentive ears dont know where to look for information much less a dev that cant afford to. Organizing the logistics of feedback gets rid of the bs “we didnt know” card. This isnt an idea to make the community better, its an idea to hold devs responsible and actually have to address things that are most prominent.
You described the issues with no SBMM perfectly. 99% should link no SBMM. 1% will hate carrying your team every game.

I understand that the 0.7-1.3 KD range is designed for SBMM but I am usually a 3.00KD on any other CoD and using off meta guns makes me stuck at a 1.4.
I grew to just not care about my KD cause skill based just wants everyone to have a 1.0KD

what really needs to be done is removing the shadowban loops some people are going through. I paid 70€ for MWIII and got two BPs only for me to be shadowbanned one week and then getting shadowbanned again after 2 rounds. Even now I barely managed to get in 13 days of being able to play the game as I wanted until I got shadowbanned again on Monday. It's genuinely crazy that people get prevented from playing even though their system should know we are legit (I understand the need for systems like this but at least prevent people from getting shadowban after shadowban when it's obvious people just report because they're salty/bad) especially when this actively prevents people from completing events and effectively losing money you spent because you lose a lot of time to do the BP, at the very least give me compensation or something.
this is a much bigger issue than even SBMM which I don't even think is a problem for me personally since I mainly play 10v10 and 12v12 where SBMM isn't as harsh with some exceptions so not being able to play at all is much worse
As a previous Top 250 war zone player and someone who had played cod since the release of black ops 1 it honestly hurts the way the game is now. I quit and started playing Fortnite of all games and I am actually enjoying in I’ve been in Unreal top 2,000 these past two seasons after putting thousands of hours into cod since black ops 1 I have officially lost interest in the game and I will only be playing black ops 6 if they step up and because it will be on game pass
I am a COD zombie fan. I really enjoy the Zombies all the way from W@W all the way up to BO4 where the Dark Either timeline “began”. I’m Cold War, it took way too long for more maps to be released and zoms got stale. I’m hoping they bring back some Zom maps from BO2 back (die rise or transit for example) plus I’d like to see keeping the leveling of weapons separate for Zoms and Multiplayer. As we saw in Cold War MW 2(?) It was faster to level up weapons in Zombies than it was in multiplayer. Otherwise from what I saw in the trailers, I think the game looks great so far. And I hope they don’t let me down this time as they did in MW19. I didn’t even bother buying MW2/3 at all because cod wasn’t fun for me anymore and DMZ looked boring.
I think one of the biggest issues with Call of Duty today is the SBMM and EOMM. I am a player who plays two nights a week on my days off. I am by no means as good at the game as I used to be however, I somehow currently have a 1.55 KD in mw3. I still get matched up against a partial(3/4) or full party of sweats. I’ll check their profile and the majority are Crimson and iridescent on ranked. I don’t understand how they want players to keep coming back when in the limited time they have to play if in a similar position as mine this is all they play against.
I am excited for Black ops six for not only the multiplayer, but also the zombies, but I am tempering my expectations this time around. The bright side when it comes to Treyarch games if you do get tired of all the sweats you can just hop into zombies for a bit. Did this quite a bit on Cold War ngl

The main problem is the hidden sbmm in ranked I’m crim but didn’t play on my main account for two seasons it was at plat I hop on it and am going against other deranked grind and iri even seen a couple top 250 skins and it takes forever to queue into a match because it’s trying to find people matching my skill level in the lower divisions if you sign up for ranked you signed up for ranked I don’t want my ping affected to save noobs for ranked play
Sbmm only benefits a smaller than 6% players, since the last mw and this one I've only experienced 1 random who didnt hate a game they were in, always seeing people im my team leave even when winning cause no one is having fun
I was always a 1.8-2.5 kd kind of dude. I used to only buy them for zombies. The best Kd ive had was 3.3 which was in Advanced Warfare. It was completely different and I was there for it. Stopped playing until Mw2019, Mw2 2022, Mw3 2023. My kd was 2.2-2.7. I actually enjoyed them. MW 2019 was definitely my favorite new game. But until I get a good definitive zombies trailer, probably wont make a decision.

Regarding your point around the 5:00 mark with SBMM, do you believe people in that range could be outliers? I'm personally a 1.3 K/D player who mains Respawn but thats after Camo Grinding, getting calling cards, and intentionally using classes so bad I have everyone in my lobby wondering what the hell I'm doing, yet it feels like every lobby is full of Obsidian MCWs with META Ranked attachments.
Playing with other players with better K/Ds than mine, it even feels significantly easier on myself, not just because someone else is on my team able to pull weight, but the enemies just seem worse.
I do have 1.3 kd but still put me in a sweaty lobbies with crimsons and diamonds player using all meta weapons. While me just using a rpg and rgl and none meta weapons. It’s boring to use the same gun all the time. I rather just to have fun and play hard 😂😂.

the difference between current dead silence and old dead silence, is that old dead silence didnt eliminate sound, it was just quiet. thats how it was supposed to be, thats how everyone loved it. awareness in the past as well didnt make it to where you could hear only footsteps, it was everything, your speakers would get hit with an extra 20 decibels just from having the perk, so footsteps were out of the question.

Why not just have an option to turn off sbmm? Then it's off by default but you can opt in or out. Just have notification if the player is losing a lot to opt to play people at their level or play with mix level players. Options are good.
The end result wont change for anybody. Anybody who is naturally under a 1kd will keep it on bc they rather have people on their level than 2kd sweats. And those over 1kd who disable sbmm would not see any players weakee than them

for someone who only plays snd you cant knock on lower kd players who play everything. playing snd is levels easier to keep ur kd high if ur an above average player. this sbmm system just wants to keep you at a 1kd.
