    Love the video. I work underground in a coal mine and everyone uses a cooler made by Engel. If you like exploring different products they make a very solid light weight 13qt and 18qt. Very strong and we still dump ice out at the end of shift even though it’s hot and we re in them so often, with affordable replacement parts🍻

      Years ago I bought a small blue lunch box style one made in Australia with a steel handle made by Downunder five star ? it was a beast good as a step seat not sure if they still going regards Mike

      Thanks. Was in the market for a cooler with latches and Amazon didn't show Engel anywhere on the first or second page. Odd, considering when I searched specifically for them, they had thousands of reviews. Stupid Amazon! Picked up their 19qt cooler.

    Does it fit ice packs +lunch? Got a 19 q Engle that I had for 4 years and looking to replace. Fits a big ice pack, lunch, Gatorade and waters plus some items on the top tray. Plus a jacket. This look promising, just wish I can see it in person to see if it fits my food containers. They fit snug on my 19 q

      You could get the tape measure out but if you a tight fit in 19 qt 14 gt will be like skinny jeans

    I’ve had one of these on order for over 4 months. I ordered the same color and same reasons. Primary use is a lunch box. I like the dry goods basket, netting and top storage. Perfect use for a 14+ hour work day without weighing a ton. Will a normal water bottle or Gatorade bottled fit under the tray? I sure hope so. Does it seem sturdy enough to sit on it?

      Sorry I can't measure it for you I have given it as a 50th Birthday present I am thinking if you want to sit on it I would put something in the dry storage area to prevent the lid cracking regards Mike

    Do you guys think that this cooler is too large for daily use for a non-construction type laborer...I work in hosptial rehab. This cooler checks off every single thing Im looking for in a new lunch container - except that its pretty large for what I may need it for. Its awesome however...

      Go big you can always use the extra space for a rain jacket or a book you then have a portable cooler for the weekend regards Mike

      @@kisbushcraftdownunder Got it! Love it! thanks for the extra encouragement before I hit the "order" button. Definately on the larger side but i can use it for many events besides lunch. I put some leftover containers in the cooler and they acted like ice packs and the whole inside was like a fridge when I opened it....pretty suprising!

    hello, thanks for the video, tell me it is comfortable to sit on or is this cooler too small for this?

    • @kisbushcraftdownunder
      @kisbushcraftdownunder  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The lid is thin as it has storage below it you would need to put something under it or I expect it would crack over time as a seat possible its a little short for most people

  • @r0kwel
    @r0kwel 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I’m curious if you can sit on it since it has that thin door on top. I love my 20qt and being able to use it as a chair.

      Personally I wouldn't unless you somehow reinforced the dry storage area
