- Warbirds Downunder is a biennial airshow hosted by the Temora Aviation Museum at the historic WWII Temora Aerodrome. Warbirds Downunder will feature ex-military aircraft from as far away as South East Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland providing visitors with the opportunity to get up close to some rare aircraft. The Historical Aircraft Restoration Society, also known as HARS, had guests to walk through their Lockheed Super Constellation and the RAAF C-130 Hercules. Strong support from the RAAF has brought to Temora the RAAF Roulettes, F/A-18 Hornet, C-130 Hercules, C-17 Globemaster, Wedgetail and King Air aircraft while HARS brought the Connie, Catalina Flying Boat, Caribou and C-47. Adding to the contingent of large aircraft are Spitfires, Mustangs, Kittyhawks, Yaks, Nanchangs, Winjeels, CT-4’s, Boomerang, Hudson, Meteor, Sabre, Corsair and many, many more. A total of 67 aircraft displaying their capabilities as well as over 150 general aviation and business aircraft attended as aviators from around Australia make good use of Temora’s Aerodrome.
