@@szhcat Hi, thank you for your message. I'm based in Europe, so I'm not sure what's available in USA. Are these machines available over there: Huskystar By Husqvarna Viking Er10 Felting & Embellishment Machine I saw this on Etsy.com. Or a Janome FM725? If nothing is coming up under Felting machine, then try Embellishing Machine in your search, that might help? I'm not sure what brands are available in USA, but hopefully you can find something under Embellishing Machine.
Hi. No it does not come out of its firmly felted into the fabric. The item can only be handwashed after felting or you will loose lots of fibers on your washing machine. But otherwise your fibers will stay put.
Thank for this informative video! I have a new to me felting machine but have not yet come across replacement needles. Where do you purchase the needles?
Hi Laura, I got mine from the Elna shop where I bought the machine (in Cape Town, SA). I just had a look online and it says that the Janome needles will fit in the Elna, and a few other brands. I am not sure what brand you have? But it seems you can order them online. My other suggestion would be to check on the website of the brand of your machine and see if they can recommend any retailers. Good luck, hope this helps.
Hi. I bought mine from the Elna sewing shop in South Africa about 4 years ago. Hopefully your local sewing shop can order you one. I know that some Bernina brand sewing machines have the option to swap out the base plate thereby converting it into a Felting machine. As far as i know Babylock and Janome also make machines similar to the Elna machine i am using, they call them embellishing machines. I hope this info helps.
@@classiccraftstudio Hi. Yes, this info is very good. I live in Portugal and that's not easy to find this machine here. I will look for the an alternative to converte mine. Thank you so much.
I have a felting machine but never knew how to use it. I hope you post more videos I'm very interested
Great hope you show us more ways we can use our felting machines. Thank You Lyn
Enjoyed your video, who makes your machine? There is an Elna trade name machine.
@@esperansaloughran693 Hi. Yes, my machine is an Elna 505.
It seem this model of machine is not available in the USA? Or any felting machine that is designed as a sewing machine. Where to buy in the USA?

Will the felted material come out if you don’t embroider over it?
