How would you approach: Nano particles of Platinum and Palladium material (keyword "NANO" size) mixed in fine dirt? I have pounds and pounds of this material, but I'm unsure to what the best approach would be to refine it. I'm interested in the Fire Assay approach. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It might be useful for industries where precision isn't necessary, but as an environmental chemistry student, who has taken fire and wet assay courses, it is important to have a precise method to determine possible pollutants in samples, especially when certain metals in low concentrations indicate a high level of pollution in a site. The mining industry is also interested in precise results.
Maybe be you dont understand what you said turn to metallic so how you gonna do that maybe be fire assaying will help. you have to be accurate with all the analysis because it a lot of money involve in it.

With XRF analysis the results may not be repeatable because a different section of the sample will be analyzed in each assay
