After using a beavertail blind for a couple years that is the one thing I didn’t know I needed but would like to have. I’m from alabama as well. How many pounds of Raffia grass did you purchase?
It says on the drake site that blinds is only 56 inches wide at the front. Is your boat wider than that ? I have a 1654 and it's way wider than that

It did well, I definitely took the time to instruct my hunting buddy’s on helpin me get it up.
