  • In this episode of the Running Raw Project: Anxious to redeem himself after his 3rd place finish at the Sears Tower Stair Climb, Tim heads to Milwaukee 4 days later to compete in the Climb For a Cure up the US Bank Center. This 45 storey tower proves to be quite a challenge.

    I just did this last night in 2015! I hoped I might see some of the elites like you. I got second with a 5:53 in my first stair race ever. It's like no other. The view at the top was great.

    Well aside from the pain and trauma accumlated during the event, yes, the air in the stairwell is very harsh on the lungs and trachea.

    what type of gases accumulate in these stairwells?Is this an over dose of carbon dioxide?
    It would be great to see Tim run up the Eiffel Tower as the stairs are not enclosed To film such an event would be impressive too. we could follow the runners up the stairs with a zoom lens, usually we see so little of these races. what a view for the runners as they pace up to the top : )
