I almost preordered this so many times but ultimately decided to get Reef Project instead. I kind of regret it now. You planning on trying Reef project?
I lean more towards heavier games and wrote this one off as too simple and cutesy based on appearance alone. Will reconsider. What early rondel game(s) originally made you dislike this mechanic? Shipyard or something by Mac Gerdts?

I greatly recommend Trajan with the unofficial solo automa. SO well done. It’s my all time favorite rondel game
I sadly sold my copy of Trajan before the unofficial solo Automa came out…

Shipyard was my first turn off to the system. I just didn’t appreciate that game (original version).
