you can get monster trained players by collecting greens everyday for power training. buy player . test if he is fast trainer and then power train with specific sequence . nut well, it takes so much time and patience to collect everyday. oh myyy . definitely possible to play no money spent but yeah...
True. I returned to it twice now and it's really hard to win anything if you want to stay free2play. I think it's because whole match engine, all maths behind the scenes is shallow. Tactics? Forget it. Pick anything and if you have better rating you'll probably win and if you are 20% better you can count on duble digits, easy. The opposite is also true. And that damn star rating is only thing that matters really. The thing is - if you want a good team rating you have to pay. Money doesn't really matter. Tokens are pretty much only important thing and the only way to get them is paying. You can get few with contracts or other means, but in whole season you'll have enough for one good player, maybe. And he's gonna be good only for one season, because he'll drop one star at the end. Shame really, because game have potential.
The transfer market sucks, except that its really good but all the gold, no negotiation and the new auction type market drops any interst and I'm talking from a pov where it was my first manager game before I found out about Football manager
Heads up, the difference with Football Chairman Free and Football Chairman Pro is that the free version retires you after 30 season, while you can go unlimited in the paid game, theres a few extra changes aswell

Loads of leagues, it s really playable even free, single player so you can play whenever you want, now the AI can actually score even if you don’t tackle them (which was the meta for a while), idk if they updated the CL format and all because I haven’t played in a while and you do tend to lose value on transfers but still, my man spent waffling about a play to play game that his mate made and sorare (also pay to play) than this

I'm a massive Football Chairman fan. The strategy is to constantly sack your manager. The manager is by far the most important thing on the game. If you can hire a manager that's even slightly better than your current one, sack him & get the better manager in. Even if it makes your fans & players hate you it's always worth it.
That’s true but fan support is essentials for finances and continuing to grow or sustain your club. Also I don’t even bother with a upgrading my youth system until I’m in the prem
New Star Soccer is a long time classic. Loved it forever. Football Chairman is my go to game for long flights, cause it doesn’t want an internet connection and has no timers.
I think it would be really cool to upgrade your stadium and facilities in Football Manager and actually see the buildings being built and view and customize your stadium

I would say use your money more to produce amazing youth players, don't be afraid to go into the red either, use that overdraft to its full potential. In the early leagues you can survive quite well since the costs aren't that high. I was bleeding money in the PL though, I did end up winning everything by like 2060 or so though.
Would love to see you do a real playthrough of football chairman, my friends and I used to play it about 10 years ago, nostalgic to see it again after so long, never made it to the prem, I think the paid version had European football on it, not that we ever made it that far!

Have to agree with Football Chairman. It’s very very addictive although gets a bit repetitive when you finally become the dominant team in the country. Top Eleven used to be great in the days of the screenshots you showed, but far too complex now
Football Chairman 2 is different. I’ve played both and I prefer the second one. Football chairman 2 takes everything about the original, and improves it as well as adds more features (ex. Adding kit customisation)

Anyone played CM 2007 Java version on Nokia Phones? To me it was the peak mobile football manager experience back in the day. Would come back to dormitory after school, lie down and finish one season per day, haha.
The best one I've seen, I don't know ow if anyone remembers, was Championship Manager online, also k own as CM online, it got taken down about 12 years ago, maybe longer, it was really good.. loads of official leagues real players, it was online so playing against real people, unmanaged teams were bot teams, and there was loads of different game worlds, can anyone remember it? I've never seen anything else like it since then..
You didn't play the new star manager well, you can cancel shots, and depending on the position and skill of your player you can place shots with real nice curves, you can stop when running, you can play a long ball, and the 1 when you're upgrading means that upgrade will take one game to complete. For me its the best
New soccer star is best game i ever played however my friend show me one very funny way to be overpowered you start game finish trials and go straight to casino and just hit big you buy cans all the time and max all the stats because its very cheap at start. Enjoy 👀‼️

Football club management 24 is a better chairman style game in my opinion. You have more control over the management of the football club.
Club boss is also a pretty good game. Frustrating at times, but still pretty good
