Maus and Type 5 are my highest winrate tier X tanks. While not meta, they can simply work because of their insane ammount of HP alone. With Type 5 you have to intelligently trade your HP, but with Maus I often have games where I dont really do much damage myself, but I just "taunt" enemies, angle, maintain aggro, and play "tank" tank role while my allies attack, flank...
Maus can be quite dependent on allies... That also means you lose when your allies are worse than the enemy on the other side of the map.

proceeds to live, only to be under constant threat of the snail nerfing it due to players crying about how a tank made to be tanky is tanky

WarThunder Maus: *LITERALLY BOUNCES MBTS, AND IS SO OP THAT YOU CAN ONLY GET IT ONCE A YEAR THROUGH A SHIT TON OF GRINDING*
And also not to mention the IS-7 in WarThunder is the rarest tank in the game, you can literally buy a car with the money equivalent to Gaijin Coins
When it first came out it was amazing, it only faced the is4 and you could take on quite literally the entire team
@@heheheha6942i reckon the Maus in WT is pretty well balanced, it can bounce MBTs and is also a great tank for pushing, but yeah it gets bombed to oblivion

Maus and KV-5 are QB's happy place tanks, and therefore watching him play them is my happy place.

This is a good example of being able to "feel" the battle play out. Knowing that you risking ~600hp now will be worth a lot more damage in the future and such can be deciding factors in either winning or losing the game sometimes.
Got one, used it when the new Kpz 07 P(E) hit the assembly shop. Bounced a bunch of shots and helped hold a flank till the team took the other.
Also, the recent 3d desert skin is amazing, imo.
Imagine if it finally got access to its 75mm. Wonder if it will ever happen at this point.
Does the grant have access to its 37mm? Does the lee have access to its 37 and machine gun? But if you want to have those things… try warthunder

I have a replay of a scout maus play on prokhorovka from my console playing days. Drove straight at some of the scariest tanks in the game and it shows how powerful being able to choose who you bounce can be. Unfortunately a console replay so it wouldn't work on the tube
I love my Mause. It's one of the few Tier ten tanks I still play. If you know how to use your armor and angle it, you can bounce quite a few shots.

I love playing the Maus aggressively, sadly I never have teams that care about that fun play style and instead just sit back doing nothing, which eventually leads to me getting swarmed by 5 enemies alone and eaten like birthday cake
Yeah thats why its not a meta tank, its ment to have support with it to take advantage of its armour and size, its supposed to slowly but steadily advance.
I try to do that a lot, lifting other tanks against a wall or a rock.Sometimes they end on their side, so much fun to kill them and they can't shoot back
i only got the maus a little bit ago and only have a few games in it but hefore i got it i thought it would just be a kinda bad tier 10 tank that will collect dust in my garage but as soon as i got it i fell in love, the maus if used right is deadly and its now my favorite tier 10 in the game
The big issue with the Maus is 4 minute 15-1/1-15 games :(
Whenever I see fellow Maus enjoyer/s in the team, we do stupid sht like this somehow. It's almost like saying, "Oh hey brother, you know what this means..." and just go fowards nonstop and ram everything, push them into the wall, gravel, whatever. Don't even need to type anything. It's like we share the same brain cells LMAO

I am seriously bad at this game but the tier VIII Maus, VK 100.01 P is one of my best performing tanks, still only have a 45% win rate though
The Maus fun. In my opinion he’s not a proper front line attacking tank, he’s a protector, when your allies are getting low on HP or there’s too many enemies then you rush in and draw all the fire whilst laying waste with your gun
Imagine it gets a little bit more armor on the turret and a little buff to the gun the mous would be still very good in this fast meta, but we can see it still works when you can angle
Wait till you see those Object 277 with 340 HEAT - they always have green point somewhere, and they will find it every time...
I don't do much damage in the maus, 2-4k, but I can often hold out against 2-5 tanks (If they aren't very high pen) on a flank and allow my team to win. The trick with the maus is patience. If you have backup, you let them shoot you until they think you just aren't going to fire back, and then you track the overexposed tank. If you don't have backup, pretend to straighten your turret to fire and then angle it again. If you have baited shots, take the shot or hold the angle until someone is exposed.

This remind me the good old days of WOT, not many were sweaty pigs, people just played to have fun. Remember jumping my Hellcat over my mates SU-100 in sand river while others were fighting lol, best time ever.
I know that you have presented many valid reasons in past videos for preferring to play 60tp over E100 but can you do an E100 version of trolling as well?
I watched this yesterday, queued up a game in the Maus, and immediately completed HT-15 for the T55A, which I've been stuck on for years. (Without honours though.)

I still havent bought the mäusschen despite having it unlocked for quite some time now. However, the vk100 is my go to tank. Im not the best of players but I dp peform much better with it than in any other tank.
Yes i like the maus too. Just on the enemy team. Its my favourite tank on the enemy team.

GUP got me playing WOT so Maus was kinda iconic. Glad to see it is still relevant and is a tank on its own tier. No other tank can just ram other Tier X heavy and bully them like this
People say it is slow, but not many are faster than the TOG II

You do t know how to play with him that s why. This tank need someone with skills. I play everyday with him and i do every battle more then 3k dmg. And i use it in clan wars and i do psitive trades.

Win rate in my Maus 48.7%,win rate in Type 5 heavy 50.5%....kept the Type 5,sold the Maus.

once i was playing my e100 and was peeking a corner when suddenly an EBR came full speed at me. i taped W right 1 second before impact. he blew up :)

I found that when I mount the Survival Improvement Suite (which should add +100% internal module durability) and combine it with the Field Mod Lightweight Mounting Points (which adds -30% internal module durability), the effective value is only 40%. This suggests that the -30% modifier is being applied twice. Conversely, if I use the Auxiliary Safety System (which adds +30% internal module durability), the effective value is 160%, indicating that the +30% modifier is applied twice. I have encountered a similar issue with the Heavy Spall Liner.
I have already reported this problem twice in previous patches, but there has been no resolution. Could you please test this issue and report it to WG? This bug significantly impacts gameplay.

In the few months I've been playing I've worked up to the Tiger 2 and I think the Maus it at the top of that tree? Can't wait to get there, but I've been side tracked by my love of Arty which seems to suit my methodical approach to things 🙂 Love your videos QB

Maus is infuriating for me to play. Everyone automatically loads gold when you play it and 90+ percent of the shots that hit you are gold. There are some days when it makes it very difficult to play. It ought to be hilarious fun when playing against more typical odds, but I find that a lot more tanks these days shoot heat rounds with 340 or more pen.
stop sidescraping and letting them farm you, instead do it like QB, rush enemies while going in an angle.
Any decent player will always farm you because angled maus turret is still easily pennable with gold.
My take is that everyone who complains about gold spam in a maus is just shit at the game, honestly. A smart maus player will be a pain to take down, doesn't matter if you're shooting gold or standard
The only thing bad about Maus is HEAT rounds, tell me another tank that can take a beating like that?
The problem is that Maus can’t be penned with AP when the turret isn’t angled. It should be 240mm pennable with AP but keep it strong when angled.

The maus is my 1st t10 tank, and I consider myself a top player in it. Managed to get Kolobanovs in it while blocking over 6000 damage... it was beautiful

With the Maus you can play agressive and you dont have to rely on other heavies in your team... I'm just joking there are almost no teams today just XVM ranking people who only know to play peek-a-boo at corners because the dont know how to invest their own HP. So the Maus is the perfect choice fot this Ego-Player meta WG created. :)

I like my Maus. But honestly I bounce as much. Or almost as much , even more in My E-100, and do more damage in the E-100, plus better DPM using the same gun. Hkth are set up the same, hardening, bounty turbo and bounty vents. Oh hy the way. I do have concealment on both crews. As I ran out of useful things to take on them, haha. Now I’m doing silly stuff like sound detection, which doesn’t matter as they are too slow to avoid arty most times, even with turbos and all that. But also doesn’t matter after the arty/HE nerf…I used to run the spall liner on them back in the day. As you had too. Or arty and big gun HE woukd know l you down 200-300 or more hp woth any shot. Anywhere on you.
Maus is epic yes but we also must admit that those soviet heavys helped a lot
