  • Please watch and share this very important film with Dr. James White (aomin.org), Dr. Michael Brown (askdrbrown.org), and Jeff Durbin (apologiaradio.com). These respected Pastors, Christian Apologists, and radio show hosts have a vitally important discussion about the recent United States Supreme Court ruling about gay "marriage". This roundtable discussion engages with this important social issue and the gay revolution in the context of the Gospel of Jesus the Messiah.
What are the historical roots of the gay revolution? What happened at Stonewall? What is the loving and faithful response of a biblical church? How do we reach out and resist in a way that glorifies God and shows compassion and commitment to our neighbors? What are the arguments against proponents of this ruling? How do we answer challenges against the Christian position?
Please watch this important film and share it with your friends, family, social networks, and any media outlets you have connections with. This issue is very important as it impacts people's lives for now and eternity.

We can't give Jesus a hug, buy Him a meal, give Him a ride, provide shelter or clothe Him; but we CAN do these things for others, especially those who can't repay. That's how you love God.

So inspiring guys. Gotta admit, I have been silent on the gay issue. After finding your channel I reached out to my gay friends and family via facebook. I posted how I love and respect them as human beings, but that when it came to gay-pride I simply couldn't support their behaviour. I told them I valued their friendship but that I was being choked by their opinion since it so contradicted my own. As loving and respectful as I was, naturally all hell broke loose. Still it felt good, like salt cleaning out a festering wound. I had invited them to unfriend me if my position made them uncomfortable, but also encouraged that I valued their friendship and if they were at all hurt by what I said I had no problems having private convos to reassure them this message wasn't coming from a place of hateful ostracism.
I am very proud to say that a healthy amount of my gay friends and family stayed on, and now we are engaged in very meaningful conversations on this issue. I know most of my gay friends and family have yet to be exposed to the Christian perspective on gay-pride, so I'm feeling a very ripe opportunity to be a light to a very small corner of my world. Thank you gentlemen, I don't believe I could have summoned my courage if it weren't for videos like these. Thank you very much, God bless

Gay friendSSSS? I humbly submit the question... why are you friends with so many homosexuals who are obviously not Christian? I'm not judging you at all and I apologize as I admit I am kind of singling you out because I'm sincerely curious; why are so many "modern" women friends with so many gay men? The reason I ask is that my ex-wife was friends with nearly exclusively gay men and it was the main reason for our divorce once I returned from combat in Iraq (Army Infantry HOOAH! Lol). If you feel I AM judging you then my judgement is this, you are a wonderful lady who loves Christ and will bring the light she intends to those in her life in need! God bless you, miss!

I'm friends with homosexuals for the same reason I befriend heterosexuals; because some of them are awesome people.
I think gay men have more female confidants than male confidants for the same reason straight people tend to befriend members of the same gender; sexual attraction can kill a friendship wicked fast. If gay men confide in other men, this sharing of feelings/intimacy can be confused for a desire to share body fluids. Making friends with someone you'll never be sexually attracted to prevents a lot of embarrassing faux pas.

What I really like about this is that you show the verses from the Bible explicitly on the screen. I'm a very skeptical Christian myself and I want all those people who say, "That's what the Bible says" to prove their case from the Scriptures. Please do this EVERY TIME, if you can! :)

This segment is SOOOO very good - have had on my own heart to understand the LGBTQ etc. people and PRAY for them - be able to answer from whence I come as a believer (follower of Jesus) so they will understand G-d's great love for them-RIGHT WHERE THEY ARE! Anyone whose heart is also turned this way should watch this - and again, to catch the sometimes very subtle but also very important nuances in this message. In short, if you, too, love the LGBT community, this is a valuable resource!

I loved what Dr. White said near the end of this (1:16) about loving the "things of this world" and how it was the day to day "grind" of being under the jizya that ultimately gave Islam the edge in North Africa. It's a great parallel to today.

What pleased me most about this talk was the recognition that God is still in control and to not fear what is happening in society. It is not the end of anything. Nothing can touch our creators plan. The one thing I would have liked to hear Dr James White say during his thoughts on how we are to respond to folks using the : thou shalt not judge: taken out of context. is this - Yes we are charged by God to show discernment and judgement but we are NOT to do it with condemnation. So many in the church use condemnation in their reach to share the word. Nothing in my experience has ever grown or developed in the darkness of condemnation. We need to bring the word forth with light and salt. Always. .Calling someone an abomination or evil or disgusting is simply wrong. The act is all those things in God's eyes but the person is still his creation.

Let me explain a few things to you.
1: Jesus is God. This means, everything God commanded in the Old Testament, Jesus also commanded. That was kind of the big deal when Jesus said, "Before Abraham, I am." Everything God said in the Old Testament carrys the EXACT same weight as everything He said in the New.
2: Judge not is about hypocrites condemning others for the same sins they commit. If you are a hypocrite and judge others for sins you commit, you will be judged with the same measures you use against them. Take the plank out of your own eye, before you concern yourself with the speck of dust in your brothers. Note: this was directed towards hypocrites who, hiding behind self-righteousness, commited the same sins they condemned others for. it was not meant as a liscence to sin free of condemnation. For instance, I am not a homo; therefore I have no fear of being judged for being a homo, by God, with the same measures I use to judge homos.
3: There isn't much more context to Leviticus 19:17 than the verse itself. Here's Leviticus 19:16: "You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand up against the life of your neighbor: I am the Lord."
And here's Leviticus 19:18: "You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord."
Each are individual commands, unrelated in specific nature to each other.
Please stop trying to use the Bible as a gotcha condemnation to those whom you don't agree with (like the saducees and pharisees tried to do against Jesus).
      Hypocrite.

      Ifihada Hammer"Scriptural ignorance"
      Oh yeah!?
      Prove it!
Jesus, didn't come to overturn the law. He came to fulfill it. You know who said that? Jesus!
You want to know why I'm not concerned with eating pork? BECAUSE I'M NOT HEBREW!
How hard is this to understand? The sojourners in ancient Israel were not required to not eat pork any more than I am now.
      Matthew19?
Oh please. Talk about circular nonsense. "Durrr... pwetending to be a twuck is gud, fownicayting wiff anyfing wit a hoewl is gud."
He [God] made them male and female.
Not truck and zhongzy. Okay, male and female. You know what supports this? Science does. Are you anti-science?
      HAHAHA! You are a fool!
You argue from a position, that a man licking his own poop off another man's dongle is good, but you've done NOTHING and provided NOTHING to prove this presupposition!
      BEGGING THE QUESTION.
You don't just get to assert without proof that the perversion you enjoy is right and good.
Especially when Godly, secular, AND natural morality shows it to be an evil!
There's no projection, mr. "I know you are but what am I." I've actually read the Bible. I actually know what I'm talking about.
The Pharisees tried to use the OT Law to catch Christ in a gotcha situation, in order to signal their own virtue and make Christ look bad.
Hey! This is exactly what you're doing. You believe the lifestyle you have is correct and good, and therefore God must be wrong. And you try to use the word of God to make Him look bad, based upon your own self-righteousness.
God doesn't need you. You aren't important. You cannot hurt God. Get over yourself.
"Let those without sin..." Wasn't a commandment you idiot. You're a fool. That story related to the Pharisees being HYPOCRITES (the male party of the adultery was undoubtedly present, but was not similarly offered up for stoning). They had tried to trap Christ in a no-win situation where he either went against OT Law (which suggested He wasn't who He claimed), or violated current ROMAN law by sticking to OT Law (and got Himself executed). Jesus' response was simply not to play the game. When all the hypocrites had left, there was no one to accuse the woman, so ACCORDING TO THE LAW there was no requirement for punishment. The lesson here is to never give a dishonest question an honest answer. Which is repeated in, "don't answer a fool according to his folly."
Who's full of "scriptural ignorance" now?
      "I have yet to see..."
Ungulate excrement! Absolute stupidity! Are you saying the USA should be a theocracy? Talk about a double standard of EPIC proportions! Mr. "I'm part of the no shaming crowd," demanding us prove we shame people into staying in marriage. Of course you wouldn't see it you moron! You're too busy having 100 person orgies at truck stops to pay any real attention to Christian sources who say, restate, re-affirm, and reinforce the importance of marriage; and regularly shame those who violate it.
Now you demand we go against 60 years of communist infiltration, and the CURRENT LAW, designed to get JUST WHAT YOU ARE WHINING ABOUT as the standard behavior. Just like the Pharisees of old.
      You're stupid.
Your Marxist nonsense doesn't work on me. You'll never hurt my feelings. You will never out-group me. I will not run away because you say ignorant and mean things. And you cannot win this argument.
      Blow Marxist.

8:20 Mathew 19:4-6. Funny that these guys take this verse to be, supposedly, about homosexuality, but ignore the implications about divorce. The chapter is about divorce, not homosexuality specifically. So if a person is divorced, he/she cannot marry ever again, since they are considered adulterers. How come these men don't ask for laws that prohibit marriage between divorcees?

    • @angelthman1659
      @angelthman1659 8 ปีที่แล้ว

God said he hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). Should there be laws against divorce?

    • @angelthman1659

Michael, before I continue, I would like to greet you and introduce myself. I'm a straight Christian, and I read the bible every day.
Jesus' teachings in the NT supersede the Law of Moses. Jesus teaches us that if you divorce and marry someone else, you are committing adultery. And, as I mentioned previously, God hates divorce. Yes, the law about divorce is clearly in the bible. But that doesn't answer my question. According to the panel in the video, the laws about homosexuality are also in the bible. So my question is, since they, and, I assume, you want government laws against homosexual marriage, do you also want government laws against divorce?

    • @angelthman1659

    • @ifihadahammer7856
      @ifihadahammer7856 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Michael Harrington
The part in the Scriptures you are referring to were not in any way Jesus reaffirming what qualifies to be a marrage. It was entirely in the context of Jesus defending His stance on divorce. Not even God stated that marrage is to only be between a man and a woman. Using the supposed first two people He created as some proof of His only wanting it that way, is assuming you know His entire plan.
God obviously loves diversity within all of His creation, it's some humans that dislike aspects of it.
However, Jesus was *VERY* clear on His stance regarding remarriage. He stated that all who have been remarried when their previous one did not end due to sexual immorality are in an adulterous marrage.
Now, tell me, what exactly have you been doing to stop those marriages? Do you beleive that those types of marriages should be illegal?
You anti-same gender marrage and sex folks are no better or correct than the anti-interracial marrage and sex folks, and you are all religious hypocrites on the same level is the Pharisees and Sadducees that got Jesus killed. I thank God that you are all becoming more and more irrelevant every day.

As Christians, we believe with deepest sincerity that the embrace of homosexual practice, along with other sins, keeps people out of the kingdom of God. And if our society celebrates it, we can’t both be caring and not say anything. Too much is at stake. This means it is an oversimplification to say that Christians - or conservative evangelicals - are simply against homosexuality. We are against any sin that restrains people from everlasting joy in God, and homosexual practice just gets all the press because, at this cultural moment, it’s the main sin that is so freshly endorsed in our context by the powers that be.
Let’s hope that if there’s some new cultural agenda promoting thievery - one that says it’s now our right to take whatever we want from others by whatever means - Christians will speak out against it. The issue is sin. That’s what we’re against. And that’s what should make our voice so unique when we speak into this debate.
Some would like to see this whole issue of homosexuality divided into two camps: those who celebrate it and those who hate it. Both of these groups exist in our society. There are the growing numbers, under great societal pressure, who praise homosexuality. We might call them the left. And there are people who hate homosexuality, with the most bigoted rationale and apart from any Christian concern. We might call them the right.
The current debate is plagued by this binary lens. Those on the left try to lump everyone who disagrees with them into that right side. If you don’t support, you hate. Meanwhile, those on the right see compromise and spinelessness in anyone who doesn’t get red-faced and militant. If you don’t hate, you support.
But true followers of Christ will walk neither path. We have something to say that no one else is saying, or can say.
“‘You’re wrong and you’re loved’ - that’s the unique voice of the Christian.”
Distancing ourselves from both the left and the right, we don’t celebrate homosexual practice; we acknowledge God’s clear revealed word that it is sin. And we don’t hate those who embrace homosexuality; we love them enough to not just collapse under societal pressure. We speak the truth in love into this confusion, saying, simultaneously, “That’s wrong” and “I love you.” We’re not the left; we say, this is wrong. And we’re not the right; we say, you’re loved. We speak good news, with those sweetest, deepest, most glorious words of the cross - the same words that God spoke to us - “You’re wrong and you’re loved.”
God tells us we’re wrong, that the wages of sin is death, that unrepentant rebellion means judgment, that our rescue required the cursed death of his Son (Romans 6:23; John 3:36; Galatians 3:13). And God tells us we’re loved, that even while we were sinners, Jesus died for us, that while we were unrighteous, Jesus suffered in our place, that though we were destined for wrath, Jesus welcomes us into glory (Romans 5:8; 1 Peter 3:18; Ephesians 2:1-7).

Being homosexual is definitely not of God. My friend (she is Christian, so am I) had a revelation one night. She saw a demon (male) dressed as a woman with a bra and messed up makeup. And instantly she knew it was the demon responsible for causing sexual confusion in the world. He was sitting on a throne because the enemy was so proud of his work on how he has caused so many to defile themselves away from God. Believe this or not if you want, but If you understand the spiritual world, this is very easy to understand.

Thanks for your honest, scriptural approach to this issue. I think homosexuality is a symptom not a cause. The cause is the sinful nature and our inability to obey and please God. Our nature is one of rebellion and slavery to sin which manifests itself in many ways, one of them being sexual deviation.

Using ad blockers. However, these are technically illegal. You're using a free video watching platform, and with that comes the obligation to sit through advertisements. It's a small inconvenience for the ability to watch TH-cam videos for free.
I haven't done it myself, however you do have the ability to inform TH-cam (or Google or whatever) about how to make ads more relevant to you. If it bothers you that much, it might be worth looking into that to ensure that Google doesn't put up ads you don't like.

While I agree with this video for the most part. I think there is a misconception here. A couple of misconceptions. Gay marriage is not going to lessen the population one iota. First homosexuals only make up about 10% of the population to begin with and with our without homosexual marriage, they still wouldn't be having kids. That is a rather moot and silly argument The second part I disagree with falls along similar lines. We can't just outlast them as Mr. Brown argues because straight couples are still going to have children some of them are going to be gay.

love this show. The lack of empathy and compassion on all sides of this debate is exasperating.Everyone is misunderstanding and misrepresenting each other's position. I'm not on any ones side, or am I?Love thy neighbour! Im not surprised that so many homesexuals hate the church, lack of compassion, hate and condemnation was made in churches which Idont think really follows the talking to your neibour in private in a gentle and persuasive way with love. No, I heard all too many condemning and hating. What is human nature in such circumstances? After that, all the hate in school days drives a wedge between gays and the church because the church is seen as and has often been absent from the defense of gays v bullies.
What battle has you lost? The confidence of the sheep. They flee from you ! they fear you and distrust you.
The law stepped in to protect these people from hate. While that was happening, where was the church? You don't need to condone their conduct to help them? It's been the pet sin of hypocrites for my lifetime at least. As you say here, all while porn and sexual assault happen in the church.
The lgbt ,,community,,, the activists are beyond crazy, youth mjxed with modern university ,,preaching,, is hated even by us terrible atheists generally, but I don't hate them but recognise the danger of this group so much that I think you ll find that many atheists will stand with the church on so many of these issues.
With so much sin around, this as a pet hate of so many imperfect christians would do well to end.
Myposition, really, I don't think any church should have to marry anyone, it's your tradition. But modern day marriage for gays is by law. If you call a spade a spade a s a Christian, then gay marriage is no marriage, full stop. But whilst you are trying to save them, as christians, I would like them to be covered legally etc when their partners died. This isn't, in my view a bad thing.
Please, I don't judge the church on its worst number, its worst teachers,,,, it's child molesters etc,,, nor do i judge those stupid angry attack by lgbt activists represent all of their number.
I'm not on either side nor am I on the fence. My side is me looking for common ground between all the sheep. There is lots. Erm, as a kid, i was told that all sin is equal in the eyes of the Lord. Who is without sin???? So can't you just love them , persuade them and not to sin as you see it?

Leviticus 18:22 is mistranslated in all the Non-Hebrew Bibles, saying nothing whatsoever about Homosexuality; but does instead condemn "The Sin Of Reuben" who laid sexually with his father Israel's Concubine Wife, Bilhah.
The first and most misunderstood connection is the Hebrew word "Mishcabey," which makes its First Appearance in the Torah at Genesis 49:04 and I'm sure you all are familiar with the fact that "First Mentions" as Bible Scholars have often noted, make for important insights for later, correct?
So in this Verse in Genesis, "Mishcabey" is used by Father Israel as a replacement word for "Concubine." (which is a Wife, but often not by a Contract of a Ketuvah) . The Hebrew word for this is "Peelegesh" and is found, along with this Story's first part, earlier in Genesis 35:22.
For quite a few people, this alone is proof enough that Leviticus 18:22 is indeed the victim of a Mistranslation Error.
    But there's more:
In this Verse in Lev.18:22, "Mishcabey" has just made its second appearance in the Holy Torah and then it's Third Time in Leviticus 20:13.
But still yet, in 18:22 there are two separate ways to render it's first two Hebrew words (prefixed with a Vav) -->
"And with a Male" as became the Standard Approach... OR
    "And with Remembrance"
    ...
So it should have been translated as "And with Remembrance, "you will not lay / she will not lay (the same Verb addresses both genders in this fashion)" a Concubine Wife (of another)."
Now the phrasing "of another" has to be added, because otherwise we'll be mistakenly and erroneously adding another Law in hindsight that makes it illegal to have a Concubine Wife, because we know Our Fathers Abraham and Jacob had them for one; while also knowing that Kings such as David had a few of them as well.

Stan Lee and Jack Kirby were inspired to create the X-Men by the civil rights movement. Charles Xavier's desire for peace by cooperation was is reminiscent of Dr. Martin Luther King, and Magneto's promotion of using force to accomplish his goals is reminiscent of Malcolm X. In fact, the phrase "by any means necessary," spoken by Magneto in the first X-Men film, is a direct quote from a speech by Malcolm X. It's true there are parallels between the civil rights movement, the fictional mutant rights movement, and the gay rights movement -- the clip of Sir Ian McKellen used in this video is an acknowledgement of those parallels -- but that does not mean that the X-Men franchise is part of the "gay agenda" or that "mutant is a code word for gay."

+J Winx That reference refers to a future alien invasion to say that God does not exist. It has nothing to do with homosexuality.
If you want a Bible reference that will open your eyes, try Luke 17:34 KJV
“I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left.”
Jesus confirms that even some gay men who sleep together will be saved.

John Mark 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
There is no alien invasion mentioned in here. That is patently absurd.
You use a faulty translation to justify your agenda. The only ones that use the word "men" are the ones like the King James that are based on the Byzantine text. All the ones based on the Alexandrian text type (which is more reliable than the byzantine text type) use "there shall be two in one bed" or "there shall be two people in one bed." nice try though. You should research textual criticism.
The Bible already states in 1 Corinthians 6-9-11 that people who practice homosexuality, along with thieves, adulterers, the greedy, swindlers, etc. are not saved, but they can be if they accept Christ and repent and turn away from their sin.
      1 Corinthians 6:9-11
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous[a] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,[b] 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (ESV)

    • @johnmark150
      @johnmark150 5 ปีที่แล้ว

@@somenteasescrituras4064 Unfortunately, your belated reply is rather futile. Not only is my command of English better than yours, but my knowledge of the Bible far exceeds yours. Firstly, you need to understand that the Koine Greek text states quite clearly that it is "two men in one bed", not a house. So it has nothing to do with being in the same house in bed, otherwise the Bible would say "in a house" but it says in ONE bed, so the two men are sleeping together in the same bed.
This can be further confirmed when we consider and examine the exegisus of the verse that immediately follows this verse:
“Two women will be grinding (euphemism for having sexual relations together…” (Luke 17:35) The reason we know this is because it starts off with the words ‘in that night’ to make it clear that it involved having sexual relations, because you do not grind wheat or grain at night. The same with the ‘two men in the field’ in Luke 17:36. What are two men doing together in the field at night? They are certainly not picking corn or cotton. This is clearly a euphemism for having sexual relations in the field at night, away from the gazing public, just as we use the euphemism ‘making love’ in today’s society.
Jesus had no problem referring to these three same sex couples in Luke 17:34-36. And there was no similar warning about ‘go and sin no more’ as there was with the woman who committed adultery. This shows that gays and lesbians have the same opportunity to enter God’s kingdom as everyone else. Amen.
I am a gay Christian and a devoted churchgoer, and have been for more than 50 years. God decides who is saved, not you. Let me teach you what God says: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13) KJV.
So instead of you having the audacity and ignorance to 'rebuke' me, it is I who rebukes you!

There are 2 possible world views. You either have a religious world view that says it's a sin, or your a naturalistic worldview where homosexuality in species that have to procreate are a mutation within the natural proclivities of the kind. You can't reject God, and still think this is OK for the species. That's inconstant.
We don't allow the blind to drive, or the deaf to work in situations where hearing is a job requirement. Everyone doesn't have the same rights. It happens. Gays shouldn't be married.
I live in Mich. We voted that it was to be banned. For 5 folks, not in our state, not in our community, not having to answer to us...shouldn't be making our decisions.
3-5% of the population is gay. Why the heck are they making decisions for the majority? The world is upside down. But we know this....most of us have read the end of the book, so we know whats coming...Still sad to see and be a part of. So allow us our right to complain.

I have no clue what you are to open with your mind, it is a stupid nonsensical question. There are far more than 2 world views, and there are many religions. However, God has never stated that any and all homosexual sex is a sin. Homosexuality has been a natural and normal aspect of human sexuality for all of recorded history, sex with humans is far more complex than other species, and it has always been for more than procreation.
The rest of your comment just proves how ignorant you truly are. Tell me, should us blacks have the right to marry? We are after all a small minority in the US.
You ignorantly think that there is only 3 to 4 % of LGBT people in the US, but there are far more. That 3 to 4% is only the homosexuals that have made the choice to make their sexual orientation public knowledge. That is at best 1/2 of the actual homosexuals. Then there are bisexuals, and that may even outnumber the heterosexuals, but lets say there as many of them as there are homosexuals. That would make it 16% of the US is homosexuals and bisexuals, then there is the rest, so let's say there is only 2% of the rest, that makes it 18%. Only 12% of the US population is black, so that means there are more LGBT people than us blacks.
And, equal/civil rights are not a majority or minority decision, if it were us blacks would most likely still have far fewer rights that you whites.
Just like with the homosexuals, it took the Supreme Court to step in and do the right and just thing for blacks in 1967. That was not long ago. Do you disagree with that also?

It is the religious folks who have tried redefining marrage into what they want it to be. They want all marrage to be a sacramental marrage, but it has never been that way, and I hope to God that it never is. Legal civil marrage is far older and far more common than sacramental marrage. Same gender marrage has always been a part of legal civil marrage on varying levels throughout recorded history. And, same gender marrage has always been a part of sacramental marrage no matter how much some may not like it.
God loves diversity within all of His creation, it's some humans that don't like aspects of it.
You can also stop using some book to try telling others what is right or wrong, or acting as if you know God's entire plan. God did not write it, He did not put it together, and He did not translate it. To many people treat their bible like it is some idol to be worshiped, and they misuse it. The Scriptures are just another tool in helping individuals get closer to God, it is not even the most powerful tool God has provided us in assisting us to get closer to Him.
The anti-same gender marriage and sex religious folks are no more correct or on the right side in this than the anti-interracial marrage and sex religious folks were/are.
So, you anti-same gender marrage religious folks can go on worshiping the bible like your idol, and misusing it, and believing the writings of Paul and Moses, ETC are the infallible word of God, but do not expect others to be so irresponsible and foolish.
*Your attempts at monopolizing and redefining marrage have rightly and justly failed.*

James White is equivocating on the term "creator". To create means: the radical causing of existence of whatever exists. That is the theological definition. Only God can do that by definition. If someone thought that they were a creator in that sense then they would be blasphemous and rebellious. But what James White seems to mean here is that people are now choosing lifestyles that are in conflict with God's law (or however one wants to put it). For the most part such people are simply confused because they are raised in a secular society and are therefore not consciously rebelling against God at all. Is it really permissible to say that person x, who has never been taught about Christianity, and who has been raised in an aggressively secular culture in which scientism is the predominant epistemology, should be labelled as "rebellious" when they are not even conscious of anything to rebel against? It seems to me that such a person is simply ignorant or deluded due to living in a context that is antithetical to Christian culture! James White will presumably reply that they are without excuse because the bible says so- but you need to explain why they are without excuse! There must be a reason.

45:50 “when you have someone, who is given over to identifying . . .”
NoNoNoNoNo. It wasn’t us who chose that identification. That was thrust on us by hostile parties, who invented outrageous theories to explain why some people are attracted to those of the same sex. Guys like Steven Anderson existed (and were likely mainstream) well before gays took to self-advocacy.
Gay people have no choice but to embrace this designation that was imposed on them and attempt to rebrand it. Most would rather blend in, but even celibacy draws suspicion while heterosexual marriage is unfair to the spouse. Also, silence on the part of gays allows hostile elements the freedom to create dangerous theories unopposed. We must identify, because otherwise our enemies control the narrative. Leave that situation long enough and those enemies will start proactively outting us.

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE JESUS ?
I am an EX transsexual life of shame turned around by YOU JESUS MY GOD
    .....................................................
I since have posted about all the things WRONG i have done in my life
All my sins are exposed for the world to see, what they should not do.
I hate my sin and yet i want others to hate it too, but i do feel quite alone
I no longer look like the man i use to be yet i do love what God has done
I share mine in hopes others would share theirs so all would be free
Yes i know one day we who are with Jesus will be free from our past
Pray for us that we find that place or space or mentality where we can go
A place where an ex transsexual following Jesus can survive until we pass
A place where others who have repented or seek too can find some peace
I'm sure many TRANS want to leave that life but there is no place to go
I've been hiding out since i left in 2008 trying fit into Gods kingdom somewhere
I know i deserve the trials and tribulations for my actions so i accept it
So many other TRANS people don't know where to go to seek Jesus in truth
They feel stuck and abandoned in the LGBT world which is killing them
Pray hard for people like me and them that God will open a door to life
The world for a LGBT person is a lonely place as they live in their pride
Pride is the opposite side of the coin of self pity that they seek so hard
Their suicide rate is extremely high and so they walk around filled in false pride
Please Pray oh please pray ohhhhhh pleaseeee prayyyyyyy
    ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
SWITCHING BACK IS EASY FOR GAYS AND LESBIANS ....BUT US TRANSSEXUALS WELL THAT IS TOUGH .. BUT WE LOVE JESUS SO WE DO IT ...... HE SUFFERED FOR US SO WE CAN FOR HIM .................................that is great for gays and lesbians but for trans people we end up looking pretty weird afterwards ................... well most of us do who left that life.. but i am still glad i did it .. but i basically hide out from the world and just spend my time online trying to help others to know Jesus .. so for me it isn't about a LQQK but more about the inner person amen.....................imagine looking like a female after being born a male and changing gender then trying to go back and stuck with female parts and female gender on birth certificate and female name because if they had to ever put me in a jail for some stupid reason i would be put in with females ...
all i can do is hide out from the world as best as possible.. many people think i am a female to male or trying to be male .. it sucks as i go into a public male restroom
when i played the part of a female i had no problems now trying to do Gods will i am tortured for Christ Jesus .. oh i guess i should say thank you Jesus .. yes thank you because you suffered wayyyy more than me
i have a female to male friend who is trying to be female again but now she has to shave everyday and her voice changed with the hormones too

People in and out of the Church needs to hear this!! You can help the Church in how to include those who have suffered as yourself. You have a powerful testimony! We all have fallen short and sinned.
May we all have such passion to thank God and glorify God for what He has done for each of us! Dont be surprised to find some immature pastors/church who cant embrace you- but they would be wrong. I judge not yet ye be judge but I do judge the tree by it's fruits my beloved. Don't poke the one who is willing to washed your feet? To show they can be humble by choice my beloved. I don't have to judge anyone. Can't never satisfy feelings my beloved brothers and sisters? Who is attracted to same sex. Our own doings brings guilt trip. Not just same sex but many other than are not of God. Example, same sex. In one place? Given time? 80-100 years. Will they be there? My beloved brothers and sisters, true coherence and truth will be reunited.

I guess there is a third misconception as well.If it it did come down to survival, I am sure some homosexuals could chose to have sex with those of the opposite sex, to have kids.
But I do want to say that overall, I appreciate the balanced and Biblical stance taken here. I'm not trying to be critical here, just pointing out somethings that I think could be approached differently.

They did answer those questions. Certain laws of cleanliness were given only to Israel to keep them separate and distinct from other nations. But their are certain moral laws that are universal for all human beings to keep, believers and unbelievers alike and both will be judged accordingly.

    • @stevek7150
      @stevek7150 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Those laws are for health and would still apply because the health concerns haven’t changed. The sabbath applies too because it’s one of the Ten Commandments and the Ten Commandments are written in stone meaning they don’t change or end. The laws were not punished as long as gods people were subject to other rulers. Christians are supposed to obey the governing authority so long as it doesn’t stand against the Ten Commandments it’s unlawful to take the law into your own hands or to break secular laws.

      Psalm 137:9
Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.
      Isaiah 13:16
Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives violated.
      Numbers 31:17-18
Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.
      1 Samuel 15:3
Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy[a] all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’
      Deuteronomy 22:23-24
If a man happens to meet in a town a virgin pledged to be married and he sleeps with her, you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to death-the young woman because she was in a town and did not scream for help, and the man because he violated another man’s wife. You must purge the evil from among you
