    💯 Never seen that version of pull-aparts. Now I got to try them and see if they'd work for me since I prefer closer grips. Next stop 525.-550

    Sic! Used single ply gear for the first time last week and this will help after the weight launches up.😊

    Those pull aparts remind me of tate presses.

    This looks newer, did Jimmy come back down? I know he moved a lot closer to the EliteFTS gym recently. Would love to see another Table Talk with him!

    Powerlifting. The healthiest sport on the planet.

      Hate to break it to you. No sport is healthy in the context of being the greatest. It’s like burning a candle at both ends to shine the brightest. Most professional athletes, implement coaches, physicians, and protocols to mitigate the toll it takes on their body, from a football player in the NFL a pitcher in the Major Leagues to powerlifter or Olympic weight lifter.

      @PlatePursuits thank God more and more people are walking away from that "sport".

    • @PlatePursuits
      @PlatePursuits 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@billdublewhopper3064 by the very definition it constitutes as a sport however, there is no ball at play and I could see how some people might not find it entertaining. Powerlifting has gained notoriety and has actually grown in the past two decades. It is actually one of the fastest growing sports. It may be likely due to social media and such. Are you referring to specific athletes walking away from the sport? Competition entries have grown massively since 1981 but I digress

      I think every sport will always have their bottle rockets though

      @PlatePursuits powerlifting was best in the early 2000s. Today it sucks. No one wants to be fat and bloated anymore.
