    Lots of good info in this video. Always try the spoons out first, and probably the style I prefer to use during the winter.

    My favorite way to fish for pan fish I with micro spoons, forage minnows, and tiny coffin spoons. I said it once I will say it again, if it comes in a yellow package with red and black writing it will catch fish.

    I've noticed if I start attracting the panfish the larger fish will come by such as pike or bass.

    its something u really cant explain to the typical spring bobber 2 pound 2.5 mm tungsten jig guy. imo to achieve the desired drop u want to fish heavier line u want mono to slow it down . on the drop a shimmy on way down then kinda dont let it stay down there long give it another rip so fish key in and they will fight to hit it as its dropping shimmying than swinging to its settling point. it'll help u find your active holes and give u an idea where to hunker down in and work them over . but even on tough bites this seems to get fish not limits but fast paced keep moving and get layout of the area
