How are the pickups in terms of 60 cycle hum? A lot of neo-Strats have some way of lessening or eliminating single-coil hum altogether. How does this guitar do?
hello, would you say it can sound like a vintage strat or classic player 60 (custom 69 pickups ) Example Nile Rodgers for the neck pickup or not not so vintage? Second i look for Knopfler's tone (pos 2 and 4) too
phenix returns I also play MK fingerstyle and yes you’ll be close to his tone in pos 2 and 4 , approximately! If you’re a purist then I can only recommend a Fender Strat or, even better, a Suhr Classic Strat. If not for the nagging tuning issues in ALL Ibanez AZs I tried, or have, this is the perfect modern age all-around electric guitar. It can be fixed by proper setup and lubrication, but still is quite frustrating for an instrument branded “Prestige” or “Premium”. Customer expectations!
