Awesome job! You took such care to do every little tiny bit where you could easily have gotten away with doing less. I'm impressed. Something I learned with my toybox as a kid was to add 2 pads on the top inside lid of the chest - where it would slam if you let it - not just for noise cancellation but it also keeps a tiny bit of space that keeps the inside lid cleaner, as any dirt or toy paint on one side of the lid will smush the dirt/paint down on both inside lids and make it a permanent dirty. Even good to have particularly when the paint is drying/setting over the period of weeks where the paint could stick to itself and make it harder to open or even make the paint stick permanently to itself if the paint is particularly sticky, tearing the paint off of the lid when it's opened- in fact that's how I learned to put 2 felt pads (the kind you can buy that are peel and stick and are typically meant for furniture legs) or perhaps the clear plastic kind though the paint could stick to that as well. Hope that helps and you understand what I mean.

Yea the owner wanted it to be painted white. I actually think it turned out pretty nice with the final varnish layer, didn’t really show up on camera though haha. 👍
