I remember when I was a kid and finally got my own room, I was allowed to pick out the carpet, paint and window cover. I still remember that feeling of living in a space that was decorated just for me. I appreciate the thought and care that she has extended to her kids' room and how she just wants them to be happy. I loved looking at the variety art pieces, and their outside area is so light-filled and lovely! And, YES, to reading! That was always my refuge growing up and I'm working on getting back there.
I loved this home so much amidst all those all wood and white homes which looks so dull & boring this house looks so beautiful and lively!Best house so far in TH-cam!
I have been a follower of hers since Blogger days because of her home decor posts 😅 Glad to see how it has evolved. Also, yung TRNZ red-and-blue era painting - wow!
The ending was a bit harsh. She could have just said "Thank you for visiting", or "Thank you for the privilege to show you our home" instead of "I will ask you to leave..." She talked to her viewers as though they were intruders or guests who have stayed too long and must be shown the door.
@@bom128 The issue is not kindness. but good editing, especially when posting videos to be viewed by the general public. I'm surprised no one involved in the production of this video noticed the harsh tone and asked for a do over. There's such a thing as a "take two". It's not like this was a live streaming of a home visit. I'm sure the homeowner is a nice person.
@@arisasis7502 i see. Got that. I have watched similar home walkthroughs in youtube and they always say something of the cuff like “well you have to go now coz I have to pick up the kids” as an example to say by to the camera. This type of a being too “familiar” tone of saying bye in these videos are quite common.
@@bom128I’m just trying to figure out what your purpose is in making comments that are just plain rude. I feel like if you have a personal problem with something you read online, then maybe keep it to yourself, rather than trying way too hard to make someone else feel bad for having a different perspective than you. Maybe just try to focus on the topic of the video, rather than trying to start an argument through online comment sections.
Unfortunately your pronunciation of artist names and their works came across as way too fast. I decided to use closed captions and it didn’t help much either. Maybe next time, try and slow down with your public speaking. It’s extremely important that you convey your important points, in a slow manner.
Very warm, colorful home!
I sooooo love everything. A place for everything is in its proper place. Good job.
So true!

The dining chairs are ugly.

She might have been a bit nervous and made an impromptu script for the exit. She did her best. Let’s be kind.
