You can use Alter's tactical to kidnap enemies shooting at you from *corners of rooftops specifically,* as long as you properly angle it so that it goes upwards and not through a wall.
This sends your target falling helplessly down into your gunfire, which can turn an entire fight around before it starts since you took the advantage of height away since square one.
You can take this one step further by "befriending" enemies on the other side of walls, getting them to punch the wall with you. You then kidnap and kill them, adding to the chaos of her personality.
Her tactical is incredibly useful as both an offensive and defensive tool, and it can be a big help shooting it where you think an enemy will be hiding. Best case, free kill, worst case, portal to chase them with.
I think a LOT of legends will pair well with Alter. BH for scanning rooftops so you can kidnap someone more effectively, Gibby's bubble next to a wall so they can't camp in corners when you tac through, Horizon ult can cover the sound and provide distraction when infiltrating, Caustic to ult a room, Lifeline to Rez with the ult, Crypto for EMP pushes, Path to zip directly inside a building, Bang can smoke buildings through windows to cover up the port entrance. There's so much potential.

If you are by a building with multiple openings using the portal and then running over to a different door to peek. Works every time
you can make her ultimate a sudo wraith ultimate if your teammate helps you. they use your portal then you place your ultimate then they use it again it wont last long but its technically a 2 way

Dam, that’s crazy bro. I’m a Crypto main, so I was thinking in different ways. Like EMP a building and ur team portaling into it, if u time it right I don’t think anyone gets stunned or anything.

did u try to scan smokes with void vision perk? void vision helps you to find enemy faster. also when u jump into 3 ppl back to highlight wich one is lower hp is nice. personally for me to see enemy has lower health than me makes me confident.

Does anybody know if you can still super jump if you have your crouch settings set to “toggle”?
So one thing I noticed when playing alter, if you do choose the Void Vision perk yes it’s only viable when going through the portal but if your just wanting to know their health and shield levels and are playing from below them you could simple Void jump so you get the info but never come out of phase
When I do an Altar Super Jump Im still in the void until I land, is it patched or is there something I'm doing wrong?
I think she pairs well with caustic tbh
Her ult works really well with Vantage. Had a match where we all pushed, but the other squad was dominating us. The vantage teleported back to the ult point and headshotted everyone, they had no idea where she was.

Since the new season has begun apex has been an npc every morning.
It’s currently 10:28 am in London and it’s laggy and no reg shots are in full demand it’s getting ridiculous
I’m in london too and everything’s fine for me, except I’ve never had harder lobbies in my life
If you know you are going to contest a team throw the ult down before hand so that way if someone gets knocked you will have enough distance between the team and ult to make a clean rez. Make sure to place it somewhere that no one is going to look people get very tunnel focused on other things so they miss out on a lot

I’ve was always decent since I came from top 500 overwatch but I am a lot better now than when I started

@@KianHardwick_ Try to prioritize your own life instead of getting kills. And try and use pings to help your team get info and loot faster. Try to not ping pong from legend to legend so you can maintain your mindset with that legends playstyle!
@@jimthabeast5345 Yh I definitely get what u mean abt life priority. I only solo queue as my friends don’t play apex and I definitely notice leaving good positions to try help the random and then end up dying. Need to sort it out
