This is by far one of the most impressive techniques I've ever seen with continuous lights, thank you so much, I was looking for something like this and I'm glad I've found it!
Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing technique once again Jiggie. Most of this type of beauty shot i've seen online always use modifiers and softboxes. But your simple approach opens a practical way to appreciate photography for the budget enthusiast. Perfect!
Glad you liked the video :)
Hi, I have just found your channel, and cannot stop going through your videos. Just want to compliment your ability as a communicator as well as an instructional designer!
Truly an amazing technique, especially with the first light!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents!
I know this is an older video, but great information!! I started photography in the film days on a camera from 1979, and we only had center-weighted metering in the camera....matrix metering didn't exist, and if you wanted to do spot metering, you had to have a separate light meter that was pretty expensive. I have found, for me, the most accurate way to meter is using center-weighted metering, and then adjust the exposure compensation as needed according to the scene. Thank you for putting these videos out there!!
This is one of the best videos I've watched.
I love that nuada light, you can see the output even before you take the shot
yup
You have a flair for teaching apart from being a seasoned photographer. Thanks for this video. It opens up possibilities of continuous light in my mind or should I say my mind is lighted!
🙏

whoah bakit ngayon ko lang nalaman na may youtube channel pala si sir Jiggie.. thanks sir i learned a lot..
bakit nga ba? LOL
Wow I just learned so much about lighting. I use to think you needed a black backdrop to get photos like that now I know it's not true! Thanks for the wonderful tutorial.
You’re most welcome
Apparently, I watched this for a second time. It is excellent, thanks.
Lol!
Sir I've learnt new ideas from your presentation. Im just a newbie trying to learn more about portraits pothography. Ive subscribed to your chanel and God speed.
Glad to hear that :)
Been watching your vids over and over. Seriously, thanks for making these videos.
Bacon Palacio glad you’re liking them, don’t forget to subscribe like and share :)
Incidentally, I am also using Phottix Nauda S3 and two M180. I'm really surprised to see how you managed to shoot low-key portraits with these wonderful LED lights. I so far use the S3 as a softbox fill-light, and the M180 as accent. Seems like there are more creative use of these LED. Thanks for your demo.
The light coming from the Nuada S3 though is not as soft as the R3 or R4 :) But try it out, it should give you some really dramatic portraits, specially if you use it for split lighting
proud Pinoy here sir, love your work. I'm a wedding photog here in Canada.
Thank you! Where in Canada are you from?

Jiggie, you are a wonderful educator.
Am glad you think so :)
super shots, really beautiful model
I shoot in aperture priority a lot also, especially if I'm photographing children who move a lot. But with adults and teens I usually use ISO 100 AND manual exposure because it's more precise and more dependable.
🤙
Very practical and easy to understand video
Glad you like it

Nice video.
Light is light. Knowing the Reverse Square Law you could any type of light from a house lightbulb to the sun and everything in between! This is for the people below who don't understand light. Sad, because light and understanding how light works is the most important thing in Photography! Not the gear, camera, and even composition.
We see light all the time and think we know it but in reality, most don't understand it or really truly see it.
Yup, it’s about learning how to see and understand light
Ohhh my, the feel of Kando! Nice one sir Jiggie! @jaruce from Guadalupe Viejo, Makati City

Hi Jiggie,
1st of all, thanks for your detailed and helpful instruction videos!
I got my hands on a pair of Phottix Nuada R3 II, but I’m struggling to find a fitting grid matching the ~35cm diameter. You mentioned beauty dish grids in your videos.
Do you have a recommendation?
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated!
Loved it
Thanks :)
Good but should be short. Please provide link for the handheld lights.
I don't hesitate to search for the subscribe button. Thank you for such awesome video.
