The Eva clutch chain can go inside the bag. You have to unzip the bag all the way to the end and then put the chain down on the outside of the zipper. Hard to explain but it is possible!
I have both the Eva and the favorite NM. I love them both but I feel like the favorite leans forward when holding it up with the chain. Also the favorites magnet did not work well at all on the one I received from the Louis Vuitton website so I took it to the store and traded it for one with a stronger magnet. My SA brought out about 4 of them for me to try out. I ended up taking the demo model since that one had the strongest magnet. I definitely feel the Eva is much more secure.

Love your videos. Yours convinced me to buy the Eva in de and I love it!! You can actually put the gold chain inside though. Detach and on the other end put it through the little opening under the tab that hangs over. Then zipper closes fine. Thank again for all your excellent videos.

After your review I decided to buy a Favorite pochette but in the store I made up my mind because of length of the strap. I am too tall to wear the Favorite cross-body. It looked really awkward. So I ended up with the Eva Clutch and I am very happy with it :-).

I recently got the Favorite mm in Damier Ebene, love the bag, so pretty and holds a lot!
I have the Eva and am currently debating about the Favorite. I really want a Damier Azur bag and don't like any of the other designs
I found the Eva perfect as cross body bag to wear when going to a museum. I wore mine in the Uffizi and the Vatican last year and plan to bring mine to the Rijksmuseum this year - it is small and secure. I also use the strap from my Damier Ebene Eva on my Damier Ebene Alma. I've brought my Eva also to an NFL game - so small it is easy to take through security.

Love your videos, in fact the video you did on the Pouchette Accessoires made me buy one! As far as the chain on the Eva..detach it and slip it under the zipper into the little opening underneath the zipper ...chain is inside the bag! Keep making your lovely videos.....blessings

Little FrenchFarmhouse HI huni, I actually have done a video in the past and show exactly how a Sarah wallet or an Emilie wallte fits inside the Eva clutch. I believe it was the Louis Vuitton Eva Clutch video from May 2013. Hope you can find it :)

Hi. A very helpful review. Thanks!. Im just curious, Ive been seeing some Favorite Ebene with the purple interior and some with red interior. Why are they different? Is it a location thing?
Eva clutch is possible to wear without the chain. Just slip through the cain after you detach it via under the zip, you can find a small hole between end of zipper and the canvas the slip the chain through that hole. Eva clutch are so versatile

I just bought the Favorite MM on Valentines Day. (Hubby bought it for me actually!! He got my the Neverfull Monogram MM with the pink inside also! I was very spoiled!)
Anyway, but I was looking at getting the Eva Clutch, and have been wanting it for a while. But after your review, and after seeing them in person, I fell in love with the Favorite. I now have it home, and I honestly have no idea how I lived without this bag!!!

You can actually put the chain inside the Eva clutch or even pochette and zip the bag without the chain being in the way.
I simply unzip the Eva all the way at the end then insert the chain under the tiny open space below the zipper fabric. Then
I zip up the Eva with chain inside.

Lovely review as always. Which mobile phone do you have? It seems to look smaller than other mobiles and fits very well in your bag.
I love Favorite Pm style more as well! Just hate the extra piece zipper on the eva clutch.

When I look for Favorite PM in LV website, it was showing that the inside is red for this specific pattern, but why is yours brown instead? How did you get to customize the color? Cause I like this pattern and I also like the brown color inside instead of red.

I think I can answer your question. The color of hers isn't brown, it's like a dark burgundy color. This was the color they had before, and the newer made ones all have the red interior now. I just bought my Favorite MM and was wondering the same thing. This is what the SA told me. Hope that helps. :)

Actually you can use eva without the chain, try it again, you CAN hide chain inside! ;)
