Had so much fun building this model. And so much frustration too.
It took me, as i am slow builder, about 11 days to finish.
The basic idea of building a car in modules is brilliant. But a small reminder in advance: this is not an easy model en NOT for beginners. Buidling the modules is, thanks the buildinginstructions reasonably easy.
The hard part is putting the modules together!
Where Cada has the quality of the technic up to par, the system parts are sub par. (Parts flip off all the time.)
In the end you get a very nice looking (but with kind of "meh" working functions) display model.
My verdict:
Parts: (technic) 9.5/10 and (system) 6/10
Idea: 9/10 (Kudoos for mr Thys de Boer)
Instructions: 8/10 with some "leapes of faith moments"
Building experience: sometimes frustrating but okay.( Definately not for the faint hearted and non experianced builder...)7/10
Price: 9/10
Overall: 7/10

To all that think this set is awesome, well, it is but it isn't. What is NOT shown in this video is how extremely difficult this set is to assemble. Instructions are divided in stand alone parts that at the end is connected in a complete car, which is a nightmare. Just check other (mostly) german videos for this set and you can see what it actually looks like to build this set. I build this twice, and i still think i make mistake somwhere for sure. The instructions are mostly clear but not quite... You really need years of experience in building technics sets just to understand how something actually connect together an to actually see where to connect something that is NOT highlighted in the building instructions.
Btw, i see a few errors in this video alone and one obvious error is at 8:03, this isn't supposed to look like that. But, that rear hood is a nightmare to assemble so it's quite understandable. B Hobby, really nice video, and great editing, but i would really like your honest opinion on the building process..
Sorry but I don’t do detailed review. You can watch it from other youtubers. I’m just a speed builder and I don’t really mind about how hard to build it. There’s a lot more complicated kits harder than this.
True , it is a hard build, but it is a fun build (and sometime very frustrating build) It is definately NOT a set for the unexperianced and faint-at-heart builder
