My two cents is that the first Cloudbreaker was the royal/supreme tech, which requires a different mold than the horizon/fuzion/gold line plastic. That’s why the molds are actually different I think.
As someone who throws 2022 Calvin Destroyers I have no answer! Haha love your content man! You older video on form, especially with your hips with the up, up, down-up motion just got me an extra 50 feet today!
@12:35 you have a very compact clean form. I just watched your most recent video with Drew and what he was explaining seems a lot like your form in this video 🤷🏼♂️
You should review the Millennium Discs Scorpius, similar disc to both the destroyer and the cloudbreaker(it’s an old destroyer mold), and it comes in halo plastic
I just got done practicing and I figured something out that me and you are not doing which is making sure i weight shift on my back hand throws. I was wondering why I always throw further on the course. I finish leaning my upper body way forward on a tee pad giving me 50 more feet sometimes with my destroyer. 410ft on the course and never over 370 at my house throwing uphill downhill entire bag in headwind tailwind concrete on asphalt rubber pad Ive tried everything
havnt tried the cloud breaker but my 2023 Calvin destroyer is an over stable destroyer compared to the normal ones 100% and i love a out of the box star destroyer and i can already see this 2023 Calvin destroyer beating into a brand new destroyer and just staying there .. i love the Calvin destroyer for the wind holds the turn but doesnt burn great disc!
I'd be interested to see you throw a clash discs pepper. I remember you doing a review of their discs a few months ago in Florida but I can't remember if you threw the pepper
My Lucid Raider need to fly soon... I don't have the speed ofc... Somehow ended up with a Lucid Captain, Sheriff, Raider... Only missing the Defender of the DD 13 speeds xD
@@Iliyena87 The Trespass is a great disc if you dont have the arm speed quite yet for the Raider. The disc I recommend to anyone thats throwing from 300-350, is the Zen or the Neo Essence from Discmania. Its insane how far that will go for an 8 speed. I know several people know that throw the Essence for the main distance driver. It has more torque resistance than people would think.
@@pathape My Neo Essence is... flippy, I know its mostly due to me but I use a Saint for straight and a Berserker for turnovers for now. And I have a Scorch and Grace that are battling it out for trustie no-wind drives, the Captain is really great for max distance in tailwinds, my longest disc is an Opto Ballista (not pro) It's not the arm really but I tend to get the Ballista nose down pretty good ^^
Best short courses: Johnny Roberts and Valmont. Deceptively difficult courses: Badlands and Interlocken. Free & Fun: Adams Hollow, ULTRA Biergarten, Birds Nest. Best courses: Wondervu, Beavery Ranch, Bear Mountain. Haven't played yet: Fehringer, Owl's Den. Eagle did a video showing his top courses for each part of Colorado you may want to check out.
Oopsie, the clone isn't a clone its the real deal but Made in Sweden? Cool //Swedish I guess I'll stay with my stiff yellow Ricky 2x ★ Destroyer complimented by a beautiful purple stock G★... and my Rive. Also none of the above is in my bag, I use a Storm Valhalla ;)
If you run into injury in your right arm again, just play left handed. We would love to see the progress. You don't risk further injury and still make that $$$$$$$$
Not sure what you mean by old cloud breaker, but the CB 1,2 and 3 were innova made( pretty much a destroyer). the new Creator series cloud breaker in swirly s line and now horizon plastic are a newer retooled mold made by discmania in the new Swedish factory. Hope that helps

this is a great hypothesis!
i read that pop tops allow for the thumb to get more pressure or stronger grip with less effort which aids in better spin
Love seeing the home course on this channel! Keep it up!

how i think about choosing a disc is always Headwind = overstable tailwind = understable
You should take your rangefinder out to Coal Creek, a few of their signs are wrong. #1 is around 310 and 17 is like 280 iirc.

The anhyser top is what set discmania apart from innova. Thats what that dimple on the rim is
Entertaining video about some discs that my noodle arm has no business touching!

Great vid Anthony!!

Lucid Ice Raider is a glidier Rive with the same stability. The Raider is one of the most overlooked discs. Variety of plastics for different flgihts.
I've heard the Raider is super slept on!!!
How do your more stable orbit graces fly at altitude?

Oh and this course is Coal Creek - Erie. I like it, not as crowded as others and you get a few bomber holes.

its Cloud Breaker day bcuz Eagle dropped a new Cloud Breaker plastic in a video today and titled it how to maximize distance!

I love playing disk gulph😉
Did you just say "alevation"?
NEW BAG ALERT!!!
yep, got a couple. They're unreleased as of yet but I'll be talking about them in due time!
😊 That's because they copied the halo exactly😂 the halo Boss has the same kind of little pop top
IMO the new Cloudbreaker is MUCH easier to throw than a Rive. Better glide, a bit more turn, and less dumpy late fade. Rive is a beefcake.
