that is the same exact tonneau cover my caddy has. What acctuators did you use? cuz myn have just died but with the position of the actuator and the weight of the cover im not supprised lol.

some handicap lift chairs have a actuator that could work. look for the ones with a battery backup that has a dc motor

the lifting cyl wont have alot of leverage where you have them at present, hope finished product wont have alot of weight...dave
