Kasey Keller is the biggest party killer ever. Remind me to never invite him to a get together.
He's used to mediocrity
The ignorant child is back as usual, to whine without listening or understanding. Keller clearly stated the USSF has to do better but he's unsure if they will.
Check with a doctor. See if she can figure out why you don't have more than 10 synapses firing.
He’s Berhalter’s boy.
He tells the truth
USSF Shill
I can't believe they're still going on about this. It's completely delusional.
what do you mean? they offered a ton of money for mbappe to change nationality!!!
Especially as Germany and England could be looking for new managers at the same time. Two countries he has connections to that also actually have good players.
@@hooch87 Pretty sure his hiatus is so he'll be available if die Mannschaft job opens up, and it very well might.
seriously. i want anyone to name ONE SINGLE reason why he would take this job
Berhalter is likely to be sacked. If England does not win the EUROs, Southgate will be USMNT manager by late August.
How attractive is it? Let’s just say they may need to wait until last call to find someone.
Klinnsman needs to do us a Solid and talk Klopp into taking the Job, Please help us Jurgen's!
By the Cumulative Law of Jurgi, Klopp is already our manager.
Yep. Take Klinsmann and see what a terrible job he does!😂 Klopp would be a dream come true for any football organization!
That’s the jergen that couldn’t even find a roster spot for Landon Donovan…. that he was not anywhere in the top 18 or 22 national players for United States
No one outside of the US and many within it think theres no way he’d take it. He’s also made it very clear he wants a break after leaving Liverpool. He’s not going back on that to take the US job. Maybe Germany, but not the US.
Klopp would probably be interested in two international jobs - Germany and maybe Brazil, that's it.
I believe its more likely for Haaland and Mbappe to be loaned to inter Miami next season than for Klopp to take the US job.
Na def not. Haaland has no chance along with mbappe whereas kloop is a free agent by choice. Not saying he would even consider it but he has a better chance
@@MarcSpectorComicssaying he wouldnt even consider it says in fact there is no chance 🤦🏻♂️
@@dagosegovia843 I said it on the merit that he's a free agent. Is a possibility not saying he would consider it but it's possible when you are jobless. Haaland and mbappe are both locked in.

This is like the Mbappe to Arsenal rumor that a few journalists peddled toward the end of last season
It'll be a huge step down for Klopp if he takes the US job.He is still good enough to manage elite clubs in Europe like Barca,Real Madrid etc AND even if he wants to manage a national team,it'll probably be Germany.
But try making everyone understand this, its not just saying “here we have the money”
how often do you see top managers going to a national team that isn't their home country? I really can't think of many at all.
You guys are so close minded. He can certainly consider this, its only two year project. After the world cup he can go to a big club again. But he needs to do a good job in order to stay relevant. Ancelotti went to everton and bombed and real madrid still went after him and the rest is history 🤷🏽
Klopp would have brought success Even to everton. Thats the difference between Klopp and Ancelotti
Isn’t Carlo Ancelotti in Montana don’t let him leave
😂😂😂 he wouldnt consider it tbh
Here’s the plan:
1. Get him arrested for whatever bs reason
2. Tell him the only way out is if he coaches USA
3. Grant him freedom after WC 26
Idk about you but this is a perfect plan
Get Homeland Security on him
😂😂 yeah trop him in...
Pull a Qatar, your passport is gone. You work for me now
The fact that Pelligrino Matarazzo doesn't even make the list of these writers just shows me how little they actually watch football.
Or they just don't rate him
nice try, pellegrino
Berhalter is likely to be sacked. If England does not win the EUROs, Southgate will be USMNT manager by late August.
Like you
People are forgetting that Pellegrino Matarazzo was offered the job before they rehired Berhalter and he said no as his desire was to coach at club level.
Why is Pelegrino Matarazzo completely ignored???
No political connections I think, unfortunately.
What I've heard from him suggests he's not particularly interested.
*Why would they even consider any coach ever associated with MLS or who's from this side of the pond? Also, to include any American in the convo means they are not serious at all.*
6:59 you can tell he's asking for an American coach without saying it
Yep. Keller's right about one thing, 'navigating differences'... that is, dealing with his best buddies: the idiots that are the USSF. Unenviable.

@@TheManInTheRingWhat will actually happen is USSF will hire an insider to maintain control. They won't risk hiring a good coach as they would call out USSF & MLS.

only "some" americans are delusional? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!
The US is delusional to think that a coach would pick them over the soon to be vacant France, Germany, or England roles

As i wrote in another post . Klopp coaching the USMNT is a major step down quality wise, that would be like coaching at mid table championship level why the f... would he do that, when he just coached the top elite ...LOOL...

People of Klopps quality don’t move for the money. He’s staying in Europe, retired or not.
@@spce777 Hes not doin it to fill his pockets. He wants to compete with the very best.
The job itself is fairly attractive. Dealing with USSF, not so much.
What is attractive about it? The US doesn't have the quality to win the world cup.
What part of the job is attractive?
How so?
Jürgen made E 20+ million per year at Liverpool, Berthalder's contract was around $2 million per year, and besides the economic aspect, why he would turn down managing a world top class team for the USMNT? because, I assure you that there's a line of top tier clubs and national teams knocking at his door.
attractive? the best american player is pulisic, someone who couldn't get into a starting 11 in EPL!!!
@@theundeadbeholder284 Make no mistake, Klopp is dreamland. What US fans are asking for is an experienced manager with South American/European experience such as Marcelo Gallardo or Hervé Renard.
The job is easily attractive enough to get a manager at that level.

He’s a fuzz Shill. 😮😂😅
Keep the status quos….Eventually they’ll be no fans going to games, no ratings, the sponsors will pull the plug and he’ll ge dumbfounded his WSpN gig will be over. and he can do a podcast from his basement and talk to the few “everything is just fine” folks and soccer in America will be where it it was in the 80’s. 🤮

No dam way y would he even take that job so laughable😂😂😂😂😂
Stick to playing fifa kid
Klopp is a guy who would not only help the national team, he could push the whole sport in the us massively forward. Ask the fenway bosses
Klopp has been my favorite manger since he was at Mainz. I would love for him to manage the national team but I don't see what is in it for him.
Exactly
Living in America is in it for him. Some people want that.
@@FavreianVengeance he has enough to live anywhere in world, he went to his beach house in Liverpool post retirement. To put in perspective, highest paid coach in conmebol was like 4 mill, klopp got 6x that (20 mill pounds or 23 mill dollars) at Liverpool, also why won't he manage his own country NT?
@@FavreianVengeance he can live here without being the coach 😂😂😂
@@catto9694 Then you're making the point that he's made all the money he needs. He can do whatever appeals to him. And coaching the host USA at a World Cup and winning the adulation of a nation may be what appeals to him. Nobody was ever arguing that the US job is generally more attractive than the Liverpool job.
Klopp won’t do it yet, he wants a break not another job instantly.
Eh national teams you get them what 5 times a yr if that
@@ryancampbell4801sure but he likes the weekly training sessions like Mourinho which is why Mou said he wouldnt take the job of a ntl team

How does this benefit Klopp? Only financially if they throw out a huge salary. He would be taking on coaching a team that has no potential.
@@GreedyGromklopp actually knows football, would never consider the US job lol
Let’s be serious
The money is something the USSF can find. That's not the issue, let's be real here. JK would want the power to make very fundamental changes to the very way the business of football is done in America. This is not something the USSF will concede.
The arrogance of those who sell this idea that top world coaches could be interested in coaching the USA is infinite. From Europe, they see MLS football/soccer and the USA national team in the same way as the NBA sees the Euroleague basketball teams. Coaching a team like the USA is the same as coaching Jamaica but with money. By the way, any midium level team in Europe pays much more than the USA federation.
Why is it arrogance? Is it arrogant to want the best lol?
“Hey go get me a mid level coach that is just so so that no one has ever heard of or respects!”
If you can get new leadership at US Soccer and actually use some of their piles of money to have better development programs for young players, then it might be attractive.
All I ask is that USSF reach out and ask these top level coaches if there is any possibilities for them to consider the job and what it would take to make that happen. Thats the bare minimum i think….
klinsmamn is too polite. What he is meaning to say is that Klopp will never in his right mind want to coach such a dysfunctional and divided team
Dream on ain't happening
Klopp has been at Liverpool for 9 years. He is 57 and has made a lot of money. A German friend claimed he was done with management. He was complaining of burnout. Will he be motivated to start a new project? He will also want to bring his team with him. You don't just hire Klopp.
Casey Keller come on man. 2 years of Klopp is worth way more than 4 years of anyone else. If he wants to coach the USMNT for even 1 month. Take it.
What’s with the obsession of needing to hire American managers. There’s so many foreign managers who are significantly better than any American manager we have available.
If Klopp quitted Liverpool because he ran out of energy in a top club in England, he will run out of energy in two weeks in America. USMNT is not a strong team at all. There is absolutely no way a good coach alone can change American soccer.
I am not optimistic that Klopp would want to coach the US, but coaching the US team would be far less draining than any team in the premier league. It wouldn’t necessarily be an easy job, but do you have any idea how much pressure there is when coaching in Europe?
Why would Klopp manage those bums???
Because they're a top ten team or better under good management. And there is an extra level of excitement in coaching a team hosting a World Cup.
@@FavreianVengeance Top ten team? 25 teams that would beat the US - Argentina, France, England, Germany, Brazil, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Colombia, Uruguay, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, Morocco, Croatia, Switzerland, Poland, Japan, Russia, Senegal, Slovakia, Serbia, Ukraine.
@@alasdairgreig2705and yet Brazil didn’t beat us three weeks ago, and that was with Bootholder managing, so…you go be you.
Add: Korea, Iran, Ivory Coast, Norway, Türkiye, Ecuador, Australia, Algeria, Nigeria, Poland, to that list aswel. Even countries like: Ghana, Mali, Georgia, Canada, Cameroon, Egypt, Slovenia, Czech Republic arguably have better player pools to pick from.
The US talent pool is imo comparable to a country like Scotland/Ireland. Somewhere between 35-45 in the world.
There’s some nice potential, but let be honest outside of Pulicic and Reyna on a good day, this team is lacking any form of flair or technical prowess.
I like Tillman, Adams or Musah as an up and coming talent, but they are mostly just squad players at their clubs, that are mainly used to support the guys that can actually play.

Only attraction for Klopp that I can see would be as a semi-retirement job w/ the benefit of living in the US. The pay won't be great, but being in the US has its benefits- could be more $ making opportunities. I would LOVE to see Klopp in the position, although I wouldn't wish the unenviable work of dealing w/ the USSF on him. USSF is an incompetent heap of garbage, lacks the ambition & wherewithal to get someone decent & fix itself.
There is no benefit of living in the us. He is from Germany. The living standard is way higher in Europe.
Wouldn’t mind getting Herve Renard to lead our team into the World Cup . Dude is passionate about the game

As a Liverpool fan, Klopp ain't coming. He said he may never manage again, and he's certainly taking some time off. so with him saying that, it means one of two things. Either he really doesn't want to manage, or he's saying he doesn't in order to make someone come in with a gigantic offer. both of these situations rule out the US.
All this Talkshow hosts should learn that JK is a man of integrity. He said " no club. No country for 1 year"
You better don't ask before May 2025!
As South Korean, I'm shocked and frightened to see Klinsmann even being invited to talk here. He completely ruined the Asian Cup with the top players like Son Heung Min, Hwang Hee Chan, Kim Min Jae, and Lee Kang In. This guy is just as clueless as Berhalter. USMNT - don't ask him for advice, don't even think about offering him the job.
What was so bad about him?
@@snatchsilenced3965 He had no tactics. He just relied on the good players to work their magic. He didn't know how to rotate players in the group stage to maintain fitness, he mismatched against the skilled player in the opposite side, he didn't know his own squad. He kept grinning like he is in this video when his side was losing. That pissed a lot of people off.
I think the only way to "sell" the job to Klopp, is to basically tell him " you can be here for two years, you get to experience a world cup in USA and all that." In other words, you might be able to sell it as a short term stop gap. However, how beneficial is that for the USMNT? Unless they go deep in the competition, I don't see much worth in having Klopp just for two years and being used as a temporary thing.
I'd like the USSF to talk to Diego Simeone, Zinedine Zidane among others
Being realistic, the ones you mentioned wouldnt even consider it for obvious reasons. Now if the USA had the same prestige as say Italy that would be another thing.
I'd add that they should talk with Thierry Henry. Already has a place in NY
Diego Simeone is one of the most expensive managers for no reason at all. All he does is keep Atletico in the 2-4th spot in la liga
Berhalter is likely to be sacked. If England does not win the EUROs, Southgate will be USMNT manager by late August.
Simeone sucks.
Trent can’t get in the England XI, he should move to USMNT!
Herve Renard would be a really good get.

Even Canada who has inferior talent looked pretty organized and had potent attack against Argentina -- now, again, their passing and other aspects were subpar, but still, overall nice looking upcoming squad under their coach.
USA needs humbling
Maybe these people think Jurgen is not a man of his word. He made it clear that he wants to take a break from football in its entirety. What's ambiguous about that?!
Your US Soccer system needs a top down overhaul. You have raw talent. But your grassroots to senior competitive route has gaps. A top class manager without the mandate to work on that aspect would be useless.
Jill Ellis. Won 2 with US women's team. No one in their right mind would touch this job though.

The hopeful thing is that I believe Klopp is much more creative and sees that he can be part of a monumental moment in world soccer history where US soccer takes a leap forward by doing well in World Cup on home American soil. i.e. I think Klopp will see what Keller can't.
So you asked him and as a huge shock to nobody outside of America he said......No
