I believe you are correct. I think both consoles are excellent but a fun part of the console wars was how different they were. The action style of arcade and sports games came through so well on the Genesis and I'll always be on team Sega.
Subbed! One thing I wish happened to most Genesis games were remakes of early arcade ports, the developers were able to pull off some magic later in its life esp when they started pushing 24 and 32meg carts. I am a big fan of RPG something the SNES did incredible with as well as many fighters. After the Genesis released SF2CE with 6 button controller it was a total game changer in many levels. One can't argue capcom beat em ups on SNES tho! I agree with others the Genesis did very well with Arcade ports especially if the sound chip was pushed to its limits. Nice showing and I will be checking out more vids!!!
Thank you! Appreciate your comment . I love both systems but the Genesis edges the SNES out when it comes to arcade ports, RPGs we’re a lot better on the Snes
Yeah, I agree. The Super NES was not made with arcade ports in mind. The Sega Genesis was. You can easily see that in the SNES' limitations in their arcade ports. I have heard stories of (probably some from you) where the console version on the SNES might as well be regarded as...not a port. Anyway, it's always fun seeing your arcade knowledge in action.
Midnight resistance is tough but a fun game. Both consoles had their arcade ports that were solid but I think Sega had that in mind when making their consoles.
Mercs and Midnight Resistance are FULL of slowdowns, but you didn't mention them, but when talking about Sonic Wings, you mentioned some slowdowns that the game has. Another Fanboy omitting slow games on Sega Genesis. And Strider also has slow.
Who do you think did a better job of bringing the arcade experience to the home consoles?

Thanks Pink! The snes does have its moments, but overall the Genesis wins this round

I was thinking the same thing. They came out swinging with Altered Beast
The Genesis always had the better conversions, best frame rates.
The Genesis had some great titles
Damnit, I agree.
Haha right on!

Sega genesis has all the better games!
Definitely a great system
@@BigRetroShow most definitely!
There were more superior arcade ports on the SNES than Sega fans wanna admit.
I think the Sega Genesis did a better job of having home arcade ports.
Agreed!
Sunset Riders, Mortal Kombat 2, T2: The Arcade Game, Samurai Showdown and some others say otherwise.
