Merry Christmas to everyone in our beloved Kanuga community! I’m Bobby Pearce, Chairman of the Kanuga Board. It's a great joy to connect with you as we near an end to a very eventful 2024. We have experienced happiness and disappointment, successes and failures. But our Kanuga Spirit has been nothing but strengthened mightily through the ups and downs of the past year which included the devastating effects from Hurricane Helene on our part of the world. We are still recovering from the effects of COVID but thanks to Michael Sullivan and others, Kanuga is on the mend. As we stand at the threshold of a New Year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible impact our shared Kanuga journey has had on countless lives.
Many of you have generously supported Kanuga in the past, and your contributions have played a crucial role in creating spiritual growth, connection, and renewal in thousands and thousands of people impacted annually by Kanuga and its programs and guest periods.
Your past generosity has paved the way for transformative experiences and meaningful encounters with the divine and with each other. Our family ties have been reinforced and we have discovered new friends, new personal goals and greater wisdom about how we live our lives and about how we treat and serve others.
As we look forward to 2025, I ask you to consider PLEASE the profound impact your continued, and hopefully increased, support of Kanuga can have on others. The retreats, the programs, the guest periods and always the moments of reflection facilitated by Kanuga are not just events; they are opportunities for individuals to find solace, rediscover their faith, and build lasting connections.
Your support is a vital thread woven into the fabric of Kanuga's mission. It enables us to continue offering a sanctuary where people can retreat from the busyness of life, find spiritual nourishment, and strengthen our personal connection and relationship with God and with one another in this complex world in which we all live.

I encourage you to take a moment and think about how different Kanuga is from so many other organizations we all know and support. You and I and countless others need our Kanuga to be strong and to flourish for decades to come.
