What a game - clearly the best 2 teams in the comp right now. We may be top, but we're not playing with the flair in attack that these two are, despite our 'points for', and I don't expect us to win silveware this year. French is fast becoming one of the true greats of the Super League era, and what a difference Sam Burgess has made to Warrington, who are playing with great creativity - the deft kicks are killing teams' defences - great to watch. Much envy, but also much respect - that was a fantastic game.
As a wire fan that red card was a bit harsh. I think the sentiment behind these new rules is meant with the right intentions but at the end of the day it’s a hard contact sport. These things will happen. I don’t think it was malicious and it’s a shame that players are penalised so heavily for playing the game. Yes it was high and yes it was technically in breach of the rules but I think it hurts the game more than it does good. The players know the risks they are taking playing a hard game like rugby league and whilst I’m not against the new rules I think there is a healthy balance that has yet to be found.
It would be different if there was an attempt to wrap in the tackle but it was purely a shoulder barge directly to the head with no attempt to go lower it’s purely bad technique and even his own coach said that he’s been spoken to about this before from past incidents
That’s wilkin for you 😂 he over exaggerates everything but in all fairness it weren’t pretty, doesn’t help that he’s a young lad who’s still got a lot of strength to build so he folded a lot easier than the likes of players who have been playing at that level for years
He's just received a 3 match ban, so as Dupree. Am a wigan fan I think we will only miss keighrans goal kicking, we've got plenty of forwards to cover for Dupree
You're in dreamland. Wire almost a completely second string. If they were turn out like this in the Championship they wouldn't get promoted! 😂 And Wigan were well under strength too. Perhaps you made it all up instead of going to the game??
In case you forgot, we both have the challenge cup final next week? Of course players from both sides get rested so they dont get injured. Some people really have no clue what their on about
@@thewarriwarrior I totally get it and know what I'm on about. It's those who were talking about it as a serious contest between the 2 form teams that are in coockoo land. Wire almost their reserves in total. On paper should have been a stroll for a rather more representative Wigan, but even their own fans complained that they were holding back. This to be expected, so how could it be referred to as a game between the 2 form teams? Sheer humbug as it was a contest between shadows only.
I was looking forward too watching the Final today but when the referee gave a yellow card . I switched off . These are not officials of any Sport . Shame on ye all
Could Sky & SL be any more up Warrington's arse? 🤮 Mark my words, no chance wigan are winning the cup next week, SL want Saint Sam to win it 100%, and based on some of those refereeing decisions today, think we can all see how the game next week is going to go
What calls would you say went warringtons way? Both sides got away with things as do all teams in the super league, all the officials miss things and until we get the bunker like the nrl we will always have things missed
That comment is hilarious. Warrington are one of the hardest done to teams when it comes to referees even if not yesterday. And sky consist of ex wigan and saints players who are supporters of the club, and visibly often bias. A lot of people say wigan and saints, being the top sides are protected, and it's a debate to entertain at least. This comment couldn't be more twisted😂
The one time Warrington get credited for putting up a strong game with 90% reserves coming straight from the academy games in the past weeks, sky and the rfl meat ride saints and Wigan all year every year if Warrington win the CC then it’s definitely earned from how we have played this season so far. There weren’t much to talk about Wigan as they had most of their key players playing against what may as well be our academy team. Poor from Wigan and that was represented through the commentary of the one time Warrington get praised
THIS IS AS BAD IT GETS. why has this sport turned into an embarrassment. Accidental tackles are bound to happen. ON REPORT. A heap of grubs after big pay packets to police the game. "But they cleaned the game up". Sick of hearing that. It was never dirty. Great Britain should have had this line up to take the Ashes. Australians knew this. But politics would not get all the black lads on in the Tests. th-cam.com/video/mylfhPeDjvE/w-d-xo.html

Great words coming from a Saints fan , thought Wigan were very disappointing second half personally.
Fair play for that comment👏
I❤ Wigan Warriors 🍒,the 💪 🏉 Team in the World; Peter from Switzerland 🇨🇭
when was the drop goal lol
Stroke of half time. Never thought it would be the decider though.
Where is the highlight of the 1 point???
It's was a field goal taken right before half-time.
Thank goodness for Harry smith drop goal it made the difference in the end
Harry Smith
Coming straight after a headbutt that all of the officials missed because it’s Wigan 😂

What a great Game thumbs Up to both Teams 😎😃🤣😂🇬🇧👍
Cracking game from two great teams. KR up to 3rd ❤️🤍
Sending off was tough . Dropped in height very quickly
True, but he led with the shoulder I guess.
It was inexcusable
Makinson got sent off for less against Cas so he had to go

Its a red card, but Wilkin saying 'its as bad as it gets' is a tad over the top

That was a certain red card oright 😢
Need Miski back in the team
He is resting he will play next week
Rotten luck, no intent,th way player fell caught Adam out, but send off right
I'm a wigan supporter but the saints are the best team a true rugby fan knows this
Compare that to NRL's 1st vs 2nd: th-cam.com/video/hTXEEntIKGo/w-d-xo.html
The red card was harsh...he got took down from behind as he was coming in to contact with the other wigan player at the front of him
Some awful defence from Wigan and so stupid and yet typical from Keighran.
