Love your videos, but I have a phobia of roaches since I was, I'd say, 10 to 12 years old. But I am still watching 👀 🫣👀♥️. I just turned 57 this past 18th of November. So, I am enjoying the snow we're having today here in Penrose, Colorado. I am having fun and watching some more of your videos. Hope you, your family and friends and everyone here had a Wonderful Happy Thanksgiving. Have a great day everyone 😊
Latrodectus dahli is found in the middle east, north Africa, and south-central Asia. The female of this species is solid black with no markings. The Mediterranean black widow is Latrodectus tredecimguttatus. The species name tredecimguttatus indicates thirteen spots on the spider's opisthosoma. I think that's what you've got.
So many amazing creatures 🥰🥰🥰❤️ I love your videos! When you do unboxings it would be really cool though to get longer footage of them after the rehousing!!! I loved seeing the T. Seladonia so much but I wanted to see all of them walk around! 😍
I love Ty? Can't remember the owners actual name, but I met him at one of the conventions here in texas. Super nice guy, super helpful, and he even responds to any questions you have over email. 10 out of 10 would recommend
Ty is my favorite vendor. He’s local to me and I can’t stay out his shop. I can’t wait to get my spider beetles from him. He has some amazing lactrodectus species.
More centipede videos!!! We pede lovers have a very few amount of people making videos for them. They need much more love! Oh man and that purple giant is way beautiful! I cant wait to get one from them!
Ty is great! He has been a staple in the Tx convention circuit for years, and has always had a little bit of everything. Tx residents only pay a flat 45$ charge for overnight shipping with him, too.
Way cool! I need to pick up some spider beetles from him after I move. I could've sworn I had something from him already, but apparently not. What a great haul!!
Great unboxing video Richard! Those T Seladonias are pretty, it's so cool to learn about all these different species and their habitats. All of mine are slings at the moment so they have pretty humble living arrangements but i cant wait to get them into a larger enclosure that I can landscape for them! I hope to make them all bioactive as I am not likely to keep so many. (although i already have nine XD)
Nice additions to your critter family 🙌 I just got a few new creepy crawlers as well from Overboard Aquatics & Exotics their my local pet shop and always have some amazing critters, fish and so many exotic plants definitely my favorite shop. I need to open up my own place and probably will pretty soon I’ve been breeding and keeping all types of critters for 30plus years now and already have my own zoo basically I have giant monitors to tiny pseudoscorpions and everything in between. Well I hope you had a great thanksgiving and hope you have an awesome day have fun with your new additions 🙋♂️✌️
I have actually made an entire video about cheap tarantulas i recommend. you canwatch it here: th-cam.com/video/zIToEAa56SY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-brjlGmTOPXpvdUR
Awesome unboxing, and looked like they were well packed... I'll check them out. My only nit is I don't think that scorpion was a Hadrurus Anzaborrego, they don't get that big... looks more like an H. Arizonesis. They have a very similar appearance, but the Arizonesis gets much larger.
Bro! I started using the exo terra stone desert substrate as my background. It's the best. I bought 22 lbs of all 3 colors. Just remove the large stones and water to make a cement. Apply a very thin layer of the cement. Then take a cup and sprinkle a thin layer of the stone desert on the cement background. Lightly press it in then apply a small amount of water to the top layer. 24 hrs later she's dry and ready to do another side. It's a lot better than the expanding spray foam and silicone. It's much thinner and all natural. I tested it on a few 12" critter keepers, and it worked flawlessly. My LP is in the exo terra 24x18x12. I used the background it came with and a mixture of black and red stone desert on the sides. I used the red for my B. Hamorii in her 18x18x12. You should give it a try.
I definitely will. I am guessing this probably wouldn't work in a humid enclosure or one hooked up to the misting system. I would worry that if the background got wet it would fall apart. But I can definitely see this doing well in an arid enclosure. I will have to try it out. Thanks for the tip.
Definitely not any kind of misting system. I appreciate you responding, man. I'm fairly new to the hobby. February 2022 I got my first 2 slings. A LP and a GBB. your videos have really helped. They truly are making a big difference for anyone who watches.
I was biten twice by centipede, i live in Croatia, and i was on coast. Centipede was brown with light legs, kinda biggest i saw, first time she bit me on top of my foot, and right after run under pants and above knee second time. She fast and it hurts
Did i hate spiders and spite buy myself several jumpers only to fall in love with them? Yes. Will i do the same with centipedes? Abso-fuckin-lutely not.
So … I have a mature female Latrodectus Geometricus and her 3 egg sacks living in a rose tree in my backyard. I enjoy watching her emerge in the evening and fix up her expansive webbing from whatever made it a mess during the day. But I recently found out they’re invasive in California 😢 At least I know she’s safe in my yard 🤎
I really like that pink tarantula. Do you have to hydrate those spider beetles? I used to breed wood cockys for feeder food and if i only fed dry food they needed water.
@@tarantulacollective I sold over 11 kilos of cockys, but when they were on wet food it messed up big time. But on dry food and the flannel watering system their crap is dust. It is sad we cannot get a lot of things here in Australia. Thankfully our pollies had their head screwed on when they realised what introducing foreign species can do. just look at the cane toad introduced in 1933. It didn't eat the cane beetle and is a pest destroying our wildlife. Some Merton's monitors are immune but most have died.
That’s not entirely true. Certain provinces do have blanket bans on all venomous, but some don’t. Most provinces rely on individual municipalities & city by-laws to determine what you can & can’t keep. Certain municipalities have specific wording for medically significant venomous animals, some blanket ban anything with venom & some have no bylaws prohibiting venomous animals. There is also no provincial or federal laws prohibiting the importing or exporting of venomous animals in Canada. Plenty of T’s, scorps & rear fanged colubrids are perfectly legal to own in many parts of Canada, and there’s municipalities like I mentioned that lack any exotic bylaws and you can legally own rattlesnakes & cobras, subjecting yourself to criminal prosecution if your animal injures anyone.
Glad to see you use they/them pronouns!!! Now that you have one, could you do a care guide on the T seladonia!!! I've watched dave's little beasties' videos on them at least 10 times now, but I love your style! I already got two slings and praying I got a m and f to breed them to distribute them in europe!
Hi richard well I have been to the pet store and I got my giant white knee sling , can just start seeing the white stripes, this is watching you on TH-cam that's got me back into it🖤🇬🇧🫸🫷🤶🕸🕸🕸

I got my first Tarantula from Ty in December and its doing great! He's very responsive to messages and a super nice dude.

Saw that black African thick tail so I was curious sadly it's given away as a tree be to 500$+ orders but I also haven't checked all the pages yet
I just got my C. Darlingi sling from them!

I agree

Nope. No watering. They get their moisture from the vegetables.

Amazing stuff, nice video
Thanks!
You have a great Chanel!!!!!
Thought you already had a t.seladonia in your collection?
That scorpion is gorgeous! Is it super venomous?
Nope!
The Beatles 🪲 look like they should have been in the movie “A Bugs Life” lol
Is it legal to own t. Seladonia? I thought export from Brazil was banned?
Excellent 🎉
"Here's my phone"

Tomorrow afternoon im going to the pet store ive found in London, giant white knee, red knee, or ??? Ill see when I get there😂😂
Am I really ordering more spiders? Geez. Thanks Richard.

I do. That is a banjo, though, not a bass.
Half my collection of Ts is from him!
they where out of stock of all of the spiders i wanted :c
Y'all are so lucky this stuff is legal in America, here in Canada, all venomous animals are illegal, no exceptions
