    Great video. I hope your channel gets more subscribers because the amount of detail in your video is vastly superior to other videos about the Heian Period.

    There was a beautiful and now rare film made in 1963 which is a fantasy version of Dokyo's and the Empress's story, called Yoso. All here should enjoy if you can find it!

    Haiku was not invented in Heian period. The form of Haiku was developed by Matsuo Basho in Edo period. Maybe you mean Tanka.

    To be honest, this videos seems more like Buddhism statues and temples in that period of Japan rather than what life was like in Japan in that period

    Great video, and clearly a lot of work was put into it. But unfortunately it's very difficult to listen to the girl's voice. Perhaps we're spoiled with professional voice actors and narrators, but not everyone has a good narration voice. I don't mean any offense, just being honest and offering my opinion.
