Was in the market for a precision Swiss pistol after obtaining and extensive shooting my Sig P49. Saw this video and called the Attic. Got an optics ready Redback and I am very happy with my decision thanks in part to your video!
Those ‘groups’ are ridiculous. No matter the distance, that’s impressive. Most people never consider the difficulty doing a proper review while managing to keyhole 49 rounds. Enjoy the pistol.
The absolute best way to test accuracy of a firearm is by using a Ransom bench, but that's pretty good! Would love to see a slow mo video of it shooting to see it's muzzle flip in action. Also, commercial ammo is not always the best for competitive shooters load their own ammo to make power factor and custom tune their loads so specialty made ammo would work amazingly well on this platform~ Too bad I don't have $3,500 to spend since I just spent 6k on a PT Honcho open pistol which is a modular pistol that allows you to swab out barrels for 9mm major, 9mm minor sight block, 9mm open minor and .40 caliber~ So you're basically getting multiples pistols to play with~
A 1 hole shooting session. I think shooter can deliver same results in Browning HP, CZ, EAR Elite good ammo aped shooter and a quality built pistol the sky is the limit
@@MDpolo thanks for the answer. I'm not sure, sig sauer x five classic or the Phoenix... the sig sauer is a heavy gun, easy to shoot. And the Phoenix 🤷🏻♂️ at the moment i can buy only one 😢😢😢 so... I have to decide sig or Phoenix. 🙈🤔🙈
That is a difficult one to answer because it depends entirely on personal preference. They are both fantastic. In my hand and for my taste, it would be the Phoenix. Having said that, you can’t go wrong with either one.
@@MDpolo yeah, I like all guns. From the 629 snub nose , M9A3 too ..... Glock 43 good for 25 meter. The x five classic is, heavy big and great. With red dot 25 meters .... just fun. Maybe sig sauer will be soon expensive because the factory in Germany closed. Recoil difference between both? The recoil from the sig was, like nothing. The Phoenix i can't say nothing.
cippo1 they are both heavy pistols and will have little recoil. I think they are very comprable but if I were pressed for an answer I would say the Sig has a bit more recoil. But, ammo will also be a factor in the felt recoil.
This is surely a brilliant gun, and I'm even thinking about getting one. But a "pretty much non-existent" recoil :-)? A 9 mm cartridge is a 9 mm cartridge and we all see the gun flip in your hands. Also, as for accuracy, it would be more interesting to see how it works at 25 yards?
For my purposes, most of my practice takes place inside of 10 yards. I do practice for longer shots but it’s not the bulk of it. Also the indoor range where I shoot only goes to 20 yards. Thank you for watching.
I assume by your comment that you have fired the Phoenix Redback. What “handles better” will vary from person to person. The Shadow 2 is an awesome pistol as well. Thank you for watching.
Swiss perfection at its best, those Swiss sure know how to make a firearm!
They sure do. Thank you very much for watching.
Another happy Redback owner here, from the Netherlands.
Amazing pistol, fit and finish is superb.
Glad to hear! They are superb pistols. Thank you for watching!
Such a gorgeous pistol. I'm glad it performs as good as it looks. Great video!
Thank you very much for your kind words. It surely is a nice one.

Amazing!
Mighty fine shooting.

Hello Sir, thank you for showing us and demonstrating this Phoenix Redback.
I like your wristwatch, too! Looks like a Longines.
+JDM RICER KING you are welcome. The watch, no, it is a custom order. Thanks for watching.
Nice shooting Dr. Polo!!!

What a tack driver I have never ever seen this gun wow beautiful gun.well now I had to have one wow.
They are amazing. The craftsmanship is superb. Thank you for watching.
Awesome! The Sphinx reborn!
That is some good shooting Sir. That gun is awesome. I may run into you one day since that shooting range is not far from my house.
Thank you very much and if you see me there please make sure to say hello. Thank you for watching.
That's incredible, I gotta get one.
Great shooting! Love your video's! Greetings from a Sphinx 3000/3009 owner from the Netherlands.
Awesome! I love the Sphinx 3000. But let me tell you, this Phoenix Redback takes it to another level. Thank you for watching and cheers!
@@MDpolo Good to know, I will start to save some euro's then :D

Beautiful Pistol & Great Shooting Brother! Carry on
+Big Johnson Guns and Gear thank you Brother!
Thanks for show this awesome gun!
You are welcome. Thank you for watching.
What a beautiful pistol!!! Really hope that they could make a lower budget DA/SA full metal version like they used to.
+Laing Zhao they do! Look at the Phoenix Fusion. It’s an improved version of the Sphinx SDP.
@@MDpolo Thanks for the reply, pal. But I think Fusion is metal slide on polymer frame? I know I am picky. LOL.
Just like the Sphinx SDP, you can get it all metal or metal on polymer.

in Switzerland you shoot in 28 yards shooting ranges this group.
Nice gun! Nice shooting!
Thank you very much. It is a fantastic pistol. Thanks for watching.
@@MDpolo You're welcome. My pleasure.
Is this one an all steel frame or is it aluminum?
Steel. Thank you very much for watching.
@@MDpolo
Just watch honest outlaw running one of these and now I'm really interested in purchasing one
They are truly superb pistols. If you are truly interested, let me know and I will put you in touch with the distributor.

I see you shoot with eyes open or are you cross eye dominant?
I can only speak for myself, but I can tell you that I am not cross eye dominant.
You said it’s well balanced , wish my shadow 2 wasn’t so muzzle heavy . Why did cz do that ?
I guess if it has a full mag in it , it’s better balanced though .
That’s the thing. The Phoenix feels perfectly balanced with or without a full mag in it. Thank you for watching.
This gun vs Sig sauer x five classic ?
Hmmm, I hadn’t thought about that. Interesting. Let me do some research because I own both. Thank you for the idea!

Soft shooting pistol for sure 👍
$4000.00 plus please !
Yes, and worth every penny. Thank you for stopping by.
Not impressed. Easy to do with my CZ Shadow 2 at a margin of the price and it handles better.
