Great tip. Would be interesting to do an agar experiment with various mediums. I have heard some will add erythrirol and that will speed up colonization. I can link the paper for anyone interested

@cinderblue3251 sounds interesting, however most dishes only take 2 weeks to colonize or less, and speeding things up rarely is necessary.
