3:25 WTF?!? I platinumed the game completed the no death no bonfire run, SL1 run and have overall like 500 hours in this game. Today I learned invisible hollows exist...
Learned that too like 2 days ago, instead mine were in the catacombs after the Demon of Song, there is one under the stair case and one after the two witches, beside the stairs to before Agna or whatever his name is who hates light.
@@Be_And after all this years you still learn new things. Amazing. I had the same reaction when I found out halfway in NG+, that there are illusury Walls... but you have to spam X instead of attack/rolling into them. And I rolled into every fucking wall in Drangleic.
Be And is going to single-handedly make me like Dark Souls II, and I'm okay with that. It was also pretty sad to see the video was private for most of today, but I'm glad the issue was sorted out. Love your content.
I'm still mad that nobody picked up on 42:46 Madlad used scenery as a fucking Chad meme, I lost my shit first time I saw it. One of the best jokes in the video, comedic timing is so good I can't even, and song goes with it perfectly. And yes I watched it trough at least 3 times and probably will watch it 5 more times at the very least, what are you going to do about it.
There is nothing more upsetting than seeing how awesome your videos are and them not getting the appreciation they deserve. Your videos are so well edited and planned out it's so enjoyable to watch. Yet despite some videos having hundreds of thousands of views you only have 25k subs, it breaks my heart.
@@Be_And I mean this from a place of love, but it’s because they aren’t voiced. I love your video, but I can’t spend hours reading them. If they were voiced I would listen to all of them.
I love that in the first half of the video the biggest problem is the limited dark orb's casts, and then in the second half the "worst" problem is that you can't one shot pursuer lmao perfect video, keep it up!
Been here since you were a tiny channel of a few hundred people doing a melee-only 1shot ‘guide’ on DS1. It’s been absolutely awesome seeing not just your growth in viewership, but seeing you improve and find your own style. Things like the part graphics, colour choice for some words, even the music shifting to become more low-tempo than in those early days, taking more steps away from your inspiration. Best of all, your vids are still as good now as then, keep it up.
I just played bo2 zombies the other day for the first time since whenever it was still kinda new. There's quite a bit of lobbies on the plutonium private servers
Dark souls 2 was my first souls game and i love it so much. Progressing super slowly, not knowing what's around the corner, conserving estus and dying miserably to non-bosses. Ppl may dislike it, but for me ds2 is as good as the others in the series. Was so much fun (rage).
I want to say before I get into this presumably amazing video already, I loved dark souls 2, I played it the most of all the souls series games. I'm genuinely excited and happy this game is finally getting some love after all the hate over the years.
Big ymfah energy. Very high quality work with both the editing and the guide itself! Also, 17:08, Library of Ruina/lobotomy corporation ost? Very fine taste!
Nice video! Also, this reshade looks amazing. Most Dark Souls reshades seem to be about forcing you to use a torch to be able to see anything anywhere, but this one really enhances the visuals of the game.
The way ymfah turned out to be an adopted grandson to the Limit Breakers, so this little feller should know his roots :D Nice job, lad, it's nice to see that the community thrives and is friendly towards each other despite the obvious similaritites :) Good luck on the content creator's path!)
28:00 - 30:00 literally blew my mind I had to watch the whole video I love it I learned a lot and I’ve been playing this for years but just started my hex run
This is the video that convinced me to play dark souls 2, I had it on my steam library for ages but never once I actually played it. Around 90 hours later and getting the 100% I can now safely say that I hate this game with a passion, thank you mr Be And for making me regret my life decissions)))
I normally prefer videos with narration to follow along but this was damn entertaining. I mean of course I'd still love it with your humour spoken but seriously this was great
As someone who had done a hex only run, congrats! A lot of people may clown on it, but there’s definitely difficulties working with a certain damage source. Like fighting the mage killer lions before scorpioness. Or Fume Knight. God Fume Knight was so tough, with like 80% resistance to dark. Shit was brutal. And yeah, Dark Orb is just godly as a bread and butter spell. The fact it does poise damage, stunning enemies and making distance is crucial to its effectiveness. Hits like a truck for damage too.
after playing L. Corp. for the first time around October last year, i had to double take and look through the playlist to see if I was right, and I was half right, its 'First Warning' , but it is the LoR version.
Glad to see you back at it my friend. I stumbled upon your other videos while checking other meme style souls stuff and i fell in love instantly. Can't wait to see the future
Gotta leave a comment to help with the algorith, this video really deserves it. You went way up and beyond I expected for what looked like just an easy challenge run, great video.
Great guide! It should be noted you could definitely streamline then No-Mans Wharf section either by using a bow to ring the bell because technically you’d still be doing a pure hex damage run because it doesn’t deal any actual physical damage to anything. On that same not you could also make use of the cheese for the initial Pursuer encounter making him fall off the edge and skip to Lost Bastille that way.
58:15 The oh so rare 'Glorious Morning' appreciation! Somehow didn't notice it when it first came out. Many a library visit to use the internet began or ended with Runescape or Armor Games. Good times.
Some people say you just copied ymfah concept to stole views, but a plagiarist wouldn't make the effort of one hour of high quality content. Your content is incredibly good and thanks for your guides
Could def see the ymfah influence but you definitely made it your own. Ironic I was just thinking about doing a mage build to try and get everything and then got recommended this. Amazing video and funny and interesting from start to finish
Impressed with time time put into this, nice video. Doing my first magic build in any souls game with DS2:SotFS and find I'm doing baby damage right now still.
Watching this video makes me want to play DS2 again. It's the first Dark Souls game I played and in some ways, my most favorite. Although I dislike a few things about it, it did some things so right.
What!? I'm pondering playing as a Hexer in DS2 after I finish playing an Arcanist in Bloodborne, and then a recent, high quality, in-depth guide, appears in my recommendations? Surely it's meant to be!
God, the music and editing in No-man's Wharf made me feel things. Sublime things. And what do you end it off with? A goddamn turbo remix of what shall we do with the fuck-ing sailor
Hex and Pyro builds were definitely some of my favorites in Dark Souls 2. I wouldn't do them often, but I loved the process of planning-out and building everything from scratch, especially in regard to Pyro: using the Dark Pyro Flame initially, spending a chunk of time gathering spells, then powering my way through the rest of the game. Incredible fun.
